Story
Brandy was adopted from KHS and was listed as a stray. She had puppies, and was adopted by us after all her puppies had been adopted. She is estimated to be two years old. Brandy loves to be in your lap and will follow you around the house. She loves other dogs and is great with dog-friendly cats. She would adore having a dog friend. She has great energy, but can be very shy at first. Her zoomies are hilarious. My husband, who was retired, passed away earlier this month, and I am not home enough to take care of her properly.

Story
Iris was adopted from the KY humane society in 2016. She is active and love to be outside but also enjoys cuddling on the couch. She is good with young children but can get too excited sometimes. She is an amazing dog that would love to find a home that has more time to spend playing with her and enjoying the little things in life. Our family is about to add a new baby in the mix and we unfortunately do not have the time or attention to give her the amount that she deserves.

Story
🐾 Meet Lottie: the puppy of your dreams! We promise! 🐾 This adorable Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier mix is an absolute doll. Lottie is smart, playful, and loves everyone and everything she meets. She’s the kind of puppy who makes friends wherever she goes. 💕 And guess what? Lottie is CRATE TRAINED! 🎉 She knows that when she comes out of her crate, it’s time for a potty break. She’s so close to being fully house trained. She’ll even go to the door to let you know she needs to go outside! At around 3 months old and 14 pounds, Lottie is headed toward the perfect in-between size. Not too big, not too small… she’ll be wonderfully shmedium. 🐶✨ Lottie has been incredibly lucky to spend her puppyhood in a foster home instead of growing up in the shelter, but she’d be even luckier to find a family of her own. She can happily join a home with cats, dogs, and/or children, and she’s ready to bring endless puppy love, laughs, and tail wags to her forever family. Ready to meet your new best friend? Submit an application for sweet baby girl Lottie. We’d love to introduce you! 💗 Please note that Lottie cannot go home until the end of July when her spay surgery and rabies vaccination are complete!

Story
Pringle is a 3yr old loveable goofball that wants to be part of whatever you are doing. He does well with our cat but forgets that he isn't cat sized so he might intimidate timid or shy cats. He does bark at other dogs when on his leash but is getting better. He has gotten along with well socialized and very well behaved dogs. I'm not sure how he would do with reactive dogs.I don't think he would be good with little kids as when he gets excited he can become a 30lb bulldozer.Pringle does have a bite history and that is why we are rehoming. The 2 bite events were not aggressive. They seemed to be defensive and he was pretty upset after the event too. My son is autistic and does not read non-verbal cues well and doesn’t understand personal space. He likely overstepped a boundary. I can give more details at a meet & greet, since I have a limited space here.Pringle has had a few seizures but does not need any medication just an awareness to keep him safe. Last seizure 4/22/26

Story
Jackson's Story Meet Jackson Jackson is a handsome and loving Beagle Mix who is currently thriving in his foster home. While he is still getting to know the worldand ushe brings an incredible amount of puppy energy mixed with gentle affection. This boy has all the traits of a true companion dog: playful, curious, and eager to make best friends. Age: 9 months old Breed Mix: Beagle Mix Weight: Approximately 24 pounds Sex: Male Jackson came into our care as a stray intake, so we don't have a full history, but he is doing wonderfully in foster care! He would be available to adopt via the Foster-to-Adopt program. This means you can start spending quality time with him and potentially take him home immediately. Full adoption will finalize once his routine health needs are met (neutering). He is looking for a patient owner who appreciates a fun, playful companion that loves going on adventures.
