SARAI 7 years Attributes Dog friendly Housetrained Crate trained Potties on leash Requires a fence Sarai (pronounced Sorry), is estimated to be about 7 years old and came from a hoarding situation. She was pregnant when we rescued her and her pups are already on their way to a better life. Sarai is a Beagle mix with some Sheltie, Chihuahua and Dachshund thrown in. She is a petite gal, weighing only 15 pounds. With her unfortunate start, Sarai is still learning how to be a cherished family pet. She loves to be petted though and can be independent until she wants attention, then she is in your face until she’s ready to lay down! She sleeps nicely in her dog bed or crate and is housetrained with a dog door and puppy pads. She’s learning to be comfortable on a leash and walks well, but if something scares her she'll stop and want to be picked up & carried. She’s also still learning to play. She has done well with her pups but is not sure about other dogs quite yet, so she would likely do fine as an only dog but also may enjoy the company of other dogs. She was around cats in her previous situation but we have not observed how she reacts to them. A fenced yard would be nice since she's still getting the hang of walking on a leash. She does okay in the car, but can pant some. Sarai is really starting to love life. Will you be her next big forever adventure and continue to show her love? We started out as a litter of six, but our sister Laurel was recently adopted. Now, five of us are still waiting for our forever homes! Our mom, Maple, is a petite 18-pound Beagle mix who took wonderful care of us. Thanks to her, we are all happy, healthy, and thriving. According to our DNA test, we are 54.1% Beagle, 20.6% Shetland Sheepdog, and 8.1% Dachshund, with just a sprinkle of Chihuahua, Poodle and some other breeds mixed in. Since our mom is so small, we expect to stay on the smaller side once fully grown. Meet the crew: Birch: The biggest boy of the bunch, weighing in at 8 pounds at 8 weeks old. He's cuddly, easygoing, and my best buddy. With his tan coat, he looks a bit like a miniature yellow Lab! Joshua: Our goofy, fun "baby brother." He has adorable shorter legs—definitely the Dachshund shining through! He's always up for a good wrestling match. Aspen: She was the runt of the litter, but she has caught up beautifully. She looks the most like Momma Maple with her slim build and long legs. Aspen is smart and independent—she was the first to wean, the first to master squeaky toys, and is already catching on to potty training! Olive: A sweet, laid-back girl with the fluffiest coat of the group. Like Joshua, she rocks the low-rider look with shorter legs and loves to lounge. Ash (That's me!): The coolest guy around! I have a sleek build like my momma, but foster mom says she sees a little Sheltie in my expressive eyes and cute little nose. I'm a happy-go-lucky pup who loves playtime just as much as snuggling. We are the sweetest Beagle mix puppies and all ready to fill your home with cuddles, puppy kisses, and endless love!
