Story
Hey guys! I am a perfect older gentleman that loves to cuddle and chill out with you. I am currently living in a foster home with another dog and a cat- we are all friends. I have limited vision and hearing but that doesn't get me down.  I am so grateful to be rescued and cared for! If you are interested in meeting me- please fill out an application and my foster mom will be in touch.  We do not have a facility for you to visit.  WE PROCESS APPLICANTS AND SET APPOINTMENTS BASED ON THE ORDER APPLICATIONS ARE RECEIVED , so while you are welcome to email  ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, you will want to complete the  ONLINE APPLICATION ASAP ,  which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find  a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10 day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fee is $220 for adults, $295 for puppies (under 6 months), and $150 for seniors (8 yrs and up) which covers the cost of the spay/neuter, age appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. The majority of dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers, so there is often very little known about their history or even current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC provides a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, as well as telephone support.   October 3, 2023, 1:02 pm

Story
Check out your future BFF, Tank! He's a happy senior that is looking for a great new family and home to relax in. Tanks loves his humans and is currently fostered with another dog. He would love to meet any fur babies before heading to his forever home. Tank has been amazing with going potty outside and will keep his crate clean. He'd prefer to spend time snuggling with you instead of his crate! If you're looking for a sweet older pup, fill out an application to meet him! Story
**In a foster home, not at the kennel** Hi everyone, My name is Velma but my foster dad also calls me Biscuit. Don’t ask me why. I don’t even think he knows why. I am a 2.5 year old 46 lb Beagle mix. My foster dad describes me as kinda boring and lazy. I should take offense to that but I guess it’s kinda true. I am not much for playing with toys or chasing a ball around the yard. I also like to sleep in and take my time preparing for my full day of chill-axing. What’s the rush? It’s not like I won’t do anything. I love to do stuff with my foster dad such as cuddling, walking, going on car rides, and training so I can get rewarded with treats! The concept of personal space doesn’t exist in my world! I love being with you as much as I possibly can. I am totally fine with being crated if you need to go somewhere. I love and adore you so much that I’m kinda selfish with your love. I’d prefer to be the solo dog in your world. At my foster home it’s just my foster dad and I that live there. He has taken me to several family parties in which I have met lots of people and kids (4+). I have done well with our interactions. I am super friendly so I loved taking in all the extra attention from everyone. If you are interested in adopting me and are at least 21 years old, please fill out an application at k9stray.com and K9 will be in touch. They look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats*

Story
Millie was acquired as a surprise gift. She is 3 years old. I am looking for a home much like mine, that will provide safety, lots and lots of love, attention, exercise, tummy rubs and proper Vet care. She is a (high energy) dog and would therefore, do very well with a family, active individual, or active couple. Last, but not least, Millie is groomed at PETCO every six weeks, and she is very much a house dog. Adjectives that I would use to describe Millie are extremely intelligent, sensitive, loveable, playful, highly energetic, protective, and funny. She can be shy or nervous around strangers. That behavior is usually temporary.

Story
We received a call for help, this person had more then 20 animals on his property, adults and puppies he needed food and to get the girls fixed. A local spay/neuter clinic helped with spay/neuter, rabies and heartworm testing. All the adults were taken back to the owner and he is given dog food to help with feeding them. We were able to take in some of the young pups, had them heartworm tested (which was negative) spay/neutered all vaccines and microchipped. We took the puppies hoping they would be heartworm negative and they are. Since having them here we have had to work with them to learn to trust us, at first they will be a little nervous but give them time and they will fill your heart. They are crate trained, but not house broken. Please email BakerBridgeRescue@aol.com and ask for an application, we would love to talk with you in detail. Once approved, we will call you. We transport every other week to a location near you with the most animal friendly transport - Rescue Riders Transport.
