Tragedy has struck one of our adopter families, leaving this deeply bonded mother-daughter pair urgently in need of a new home.In January 2022, sweet Daisy came to us and delivered a litter of puppies in our care. She and one of her babies, Izzy, were adopted togetherand theyve been inseparable ever since. Izzy has always been a mamas girl.This week, their world was turned upside down. The woman who gave them a loving home was tragically killed in a car accident. Her family cant keep the dogs and has asked us to take them back.Now Daisy and Izzy need someone to give them a second chancetogether, if at all possible. Izzy is the perfect girl: Great with kids Good with cats and dogs Loving and easygoing Daisy (the mama) is more sensitive:Shes fearful of strangers and takes time to warm up.She is not aggressive, but has occasionally nipped when scared.She needs a calm, patient home that will let her adjust at her own pace.We know its a hard time for dogs needing homes. But we also know theres someone out there who can offer these girls the stability and love theyve lost. Everyone say hi to Charlie! Charlie is a sweet 1.5-2 year old who had a rough start to life. Because of this, she is weary of strangers but once she knows its safe she turns into a SWEETHEART. Charlie is cuddly, loving, potty trained, decent on a leash, friendly with dogs, ok with cats, good in the car and a pretty chill girl. Shes on the smaller side, around 35lbs. Also due to her rough start in life, Charlie is heartworm positive (will receive treatment) and is being treated for Lyme disease. Diamond is a Blue Tick Beagle around 4 years old. She is only 15 pounds. She is friendly and loves attention, but is very submissive towards people. She loves other dogs and gets along with cats and kids, too. She is house trained and crate trained. Outside, she will follow her nose anywhere, so can be stubborn out there. This also means she will do anything to get to that smell. She can climb a fences and jump really high for her small size. She is trainable with food!

My favorite treats are freeze dried tripe from that Hollywood Feed Store and I have a Moose stuffed toy I enjoy. In my daily life, I like to lounge on the couch, explore the yard and take walks. I can be an escape artist, so supervised playtime in the yard is a good idea. My foster mom says I am pretty quiet for a beagle. I am gentle and polite with all my doggy friends and I really love to cuddle with my humans. I cannot wait to find a family all my own who will provide me all the love and attention I deserve! He has been crated for limited time periods in the day but has been fine staying out with the resident dogs. Likes: Dasher (Dash) is fun and spunky. He love chasing other dogs around the yard and wrestling with them but also can entertain himself when needed. He is settling into the lead of the other other dogs in the house and taking nice long naps when he isn't playing. He got neutered and the weather got really cold right before he came to us some he hasn't had many outside leash walks. Dash has ridden well in the car and walked on a leash in the house. As beagles go, he is relatively quiet and not much of a howler. Dislikes: So far, we haven't run across anything significant that Dash doesn't like. He is aggressive with chewing the noses, tails, and paws off stuffed toys so we've picked up the stuffies for now.  Dash is a great little dog! He's small and easy to pick up but he plays great larger dogs. He is somewhat interested in squirrels in the yard but seems to follow the lead of the other dogs rather than pursuing them on his own. Plus he gives amazing cuddles.  Dash's adoption fee is $350. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative.
