Story
Viola is a beautiful soul that we think is about 3 year old  and a Beagle mix girl. This black and white beauty with adorable speckled legs and a sweet She only weighs 20 lbs and has the sweetest smile and absolutely loves people. She was found as a stray that was taken to the shelter very scared and almost shutdown while there. Her human mother died and Viola is now 5 years old. Unfortunately we don’t really know her story, but we feel there is some trauma there in her past. It takes her a little bit to get used to people and even longer for dogs. She wants a safe place to observe (wire crate suggested)  till she figures it out. Her foster kept her behind a gate and her bed was her safe place. For a few days she would growl through the gate at the other dogs but after that it was over. We would leave the gate open and she would venture out and if she got nervous she would go back to her safe place. She is never ugly to the other dogs at her foster and  if one of the Chihuahuas was mean to her,  she just ignored her. We have her using puppy pads because there is  no fenced yard. Viola would definetly need a fenced yard so she can safely explore and have potty breaks. The outdoors makes her nervous still. She loves her people immensely and adores  kids but older ones are best.  If you want to help and REALLY rescue a dog them Viola would be forever indebted to you.    If you are interested please email at ccrtennessee@gmail.com    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 7, 2026, 12:24 pm

Story
Everyone welcome Little Pete! This handsome beagle has a second shot at life, for his golden years. He is around 10. We pulled him from a southern shelter with so many fixable health problems. Ear infection, uti, needed to be neutered, and needing heart meds.... and yet through it all he has remained incredibly sweet and loving! We had to save him, and we know someone perfect out there has a soft spot for the older guys who arent full on puppy insanity. He has years ahead of him to enjoy being doted on. He is a true beagle at heart, and follows his nose with a tail wag. He is extreeeeeeeemely food motivated, and will follow you anywhere if he knows youre holding biscuits! Those soulful eyes, soft ears and kisses will melt you. He is respectful in the house and loves just kicking his feet up and rolling around on a soft doggy bed! He does have a heart murmur and its easily managed with half a pill a day given in his breakfast! We will get you started with a supply. He also sports a champion wrestling belly belt, as we are still sorting through light drips. He happily goes potty outside, so this may be a lingering after-effect of the UTI. All tests came back great, so this may not be permanemt. We have a supply to get you started. Having his champion belt on does not stop him from having the happiest disposition, and it shows how thankful he is to be saved when you spend any time with him! If you would like to meet this little man or add him to your family to show him the best life ever, contact us at ttarescue15@gmail.com

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Cooper is 9 years old and about 36 pounds. He is affectionate, crate trained, enjoys toys and playing fetch, walks nicely on leash and enjoys car rides. Cooper was raised in one home since he was a puppy. His life there was very stressful, which led to him being fearful of loud noises.  He will need a quiet environment with someone who will give him time and space to feel comfortable in his new surroundings. Cooper is neutered, current on his shots, microchipped, loving, warm and friendly. Do you live alone, have no other animals, have a fenced in yard and are able to put Cooper in a private room away when you have company?  If so, Cooper may be the dog for you. He is an excellent companion, he just can’t take a lot of excitement.
