Story
Nash is one of those perfect family size pups that will fit in perfectly for any family with an active lifestyle, maybe a few young children that love to run and play and then snuggle while watching some special TV programs.  He was born around October 1st and he and his 3 siblings came to Critter Cavalry Rescue from a not so good environment and outdoor pen that was too small.  His personality is one of curiosity and excitement to learn new things and play with new people.   He is loving being inside a great foster home where he can sit on the sofa, play in a specious backyard with two fun girls over 10 years of age and then hang out with the older Beagle girls that belong to the foster family.  These puppies are always smiling and just happy to be getting the love and care that Critter Cavalry Rescue fosters promise to give. He is 25 pounds at 6 months and he is learning about potty training and crate training and how to be a little puppy gentleman while being part of the inside family activities.  He is not a runner but a fenced yard could be so safe and beneficial.  He needs training on the leash and could be so much fun to take on family hikes, or personal walks for the enjoyment of exercise and the ritual of exploring the great outdoors.  A fun event that showed just how adaptable Nash can be was when he attended a YMCA Puppy Yoga class and what fun it was.  He wandered amongst the Yoga participants saying hello and then discovering himself in the floor to ceiling mirrors that were all over the room.  He was fascinated with seeing himself. These were the most people he had been around in his life at one time!  He passed with flying colors and loved every minute as the hour came to a close and it was time to go home. He and his siblings did so well and they were so cute!!!  Sweet Nash has dreams in life and they are simple.  All he wants is to love his own people and to be loved in return.  A lifetime of promises await this little guy who will one day be a 35 pound adult that will be a treasure in your diary of the life and love of a dog.  Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and let us know where you live:  city and state.  We are in Tennessee and adopt locally and also transport to the Northeastern corridor of states and meet the adopting families.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 7, 2025, 1:14 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Cooper is 8 years old and about 23 pounds. He is affectionate, crate trained, enjoys toys and playing fetch, walks nicely on leash and enjoys car rides. Cooper was raised in one home since he was a puppy. His life there was very stressful which led to him being fearful of loud noises.  He will need a quiet environment with someone who will give him time and space to feel comfortable in his new surroundings. Cooper is neutered, current on his shots, microchipped, loving, warm and friendly. Do you live alone, have no other animals, have a fenced in yard and are able to put him away when you have company?  If so, Cooper may be the dog for you. He is an excellent companion, he just can’t take a lot of excitement. Cooper is a beagle who loves to sniff,  watch him entertain himself here: https://www.facebook.com/NJSHPR/videos/179023767590630 See Cooper's Photo Album here:https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.939474504849701&type=3 If you are interested, submit an application at njshpetrescue.org.  * You must live within 90 minutes of Chester NJ to be considered as an in-person home visit is required for all adoptions.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 7, 2025, 12:06 pm

Story
Hello World, my name is Luxco but everyone calls me Lux. My foster mom Says I am a very good boy but that’s because I am. I am about 25-30 lbs possibly a hound beagle X and I am a neutered male. Not sure what that is but that’s what I am. I am house and crate trained. I LOVE other dogs. I have medium energy. I love to run around the yard but I am just as happy curling up and a lap and take a nap. I do get disciplined when I lick this little 2 legged creature in the faces I can’t help it. This creature they call a baby always tasted like carrots, bananas and today he tasted like pumpkin!! I figured I could clean him up and get a little treat for myself!! My foster mom said no more licking the baby!!! Not much fun here!! I love living in my foster home but I would really like to get all the attention. I currently have to share my foster parents with four other dogs and this thing they call a baby. If you think I may be a great addition to your family you can fill out an application with coldnosewarmheart.org

Story
Remus is a sweet 8 year old Beagle who loves to snuggle. He is a rescue from a lab- which you can see from the tattoos in his ears. Although we love Remus very much, we have had to make the heartbreaking decision to find him a new home. Unfortunately, he has shown some aggression and fear towards our daughter and we cannot risk something happening to her. Remus absolutely loves people and would do well in a house with either an older couple or with a family with kids 10+. He has never shown aggression to us or anyone in the past, he has even been great with other kids before, he has just been unsettled with a toddler running around the house. Although we tried some training with him he is still fearful and you can tell he is uncomfortable with her. Remus loves to go for walks and also loves to snuggle up on the couch with his people. Adoption fee is negotiable as we really just want to make sure he finds a good and loving home. Any fee earned will go to a local rescue.
