RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England area and delivered in Pennsylvania and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog.   Meet Raymond, a remarkably handsome 3-year-old Beagle mix with a gentle heart and an old soul. At 44 pounds, he’s the perfect medium-sized companion—big enough for warm hugs, small enough for couch cuddles. Raymond’s world has recently been turned upside down. His loving family—mom, dad, and a busy, affectionate two-year-old toddler—lost their home due to financial hardship. As they move in with relatives, Raymond isn’t allowed to go. Through no fault of his own, this sweet boy will be homeless starting Thanksgiving. Critter Cavalry stepped in to give him safety and a promise: we will find this special dog the family he deserves. And make no mistake—Raymond is pure family dog magic. He adored his toddler, patiently soaking up loud giggles, sticky hands, surprise hugs, and busy playtime. His gentle nature and steady temperament make him a uniquely trustworthy companion for children and adults alike. Raymond is also wonderfully trained. He knows how to sit, shake, come when called, and crate up when asked. He loves playing fetch—bringing the ball back every time with a proud little smile—as if his greatest joy is simply making his people happy. He walks beautifully on leash, is fully housebroken, and has the most polite manners. If Raymond were human, he’d be the dad grilling in the backyard, cheering at kids’ soccer games, fixing squeaky doors, and making sure everyone in the house feels loved and safe. That’s just who he is. He doesn’t understand why he lost the only family he’s ever known—especially right as the holidays approach—but he’s handling it with grace, sweetness, and so much hope. Everyone who meets him says the same thing:   Everyone loves Raymond. He will give his whole heart to the family willing to give him a fresh start.
