Story
Benjamin is loving and playful! He loves people and meets no stranger. He was adopted as a puppy from a family who had a large unexpected litter of pups but wanted the additional pups to go to good home. Benjamin is great with kids and will follow those he loves everywhere they go! He loves his bed time (old man at heart), but during the day he is ready for action. Unfortunately, due to schedule changes, we are not home as often as we used to. Would love to see Benjamin go to a loving home that can make time for his loving personality. He is a cuddles and values spending time with others. He is crate trained and mostly house trained, rarely has an accident and loves to ring the door bell when he has finished using the bathroom outside.

Story
Hi, I'm Turtle, the charming Beagle/Hound Mix, and I can't wait to find my new best friend! Talking is my thing, so get ready for some heartwarming conversations on the couch. Snuggling is my expertise; I'll keep you cozy and warm for hours! But wait, there's more, I'm an active pup who adores running and playing in a safe, fenced backyard. My smart little brain even learned to ring a bell when I want to go outside! How cool is that? Now, all I need is my forever family to share my adventures and cuddles with. Are you ready for the most loyal and loving companion you've ever met? Then adopt me, and let's make memories together! Submit your application today at www.southcharlottedogrescue.com.

Story
Lacey is a sweet, female, beagle mix weighing in at 48 lbs.  She was surrendered by the owner when we found out she was heartworm positive.  She is 5 years old and up to date on shots/vaccines, spayed, and microchipped.  We have started her on medication to prepare her for her heartworm injections in about 30 days.  PINC pays for these treatments.  We are looking for an adopter that has experience with heartworm treatments. Lacey is sweet, laid back, loves to be with her person, and loves other dogs.  We follow the American Heartworm Society's heartworm treatment plan and heartworm treatments are administered at Spay Neuter Clinic of the Carolinas.  We will require a fenced-in backyard for Lacey.  www.pincdogrescue.org/adopt is where you can submit an adoption application and see our adoption process. ##1101372##

Story
Meet Angus — the Sweetest Little Shadow You’ll Ever Have! This handsome little guy is Angus, a 4-year-old Beagle weighing just 21 pounds. He previously lived in a home with other dogs and children, but after being kicked outside to live in the backyard for the past year, he’s finally getting the indoor life he deserves. Now settled into his foster home, Angus is thriving. He’s not intimidated by larger dogs and spends most of his time happily following his foster mom from room to room — he truly never wants to leave her side. He’s a world-class cuddler, whether it’s on the couch or snuggled in a chair, and he crates beautifully. House training is coming along well; any small setbacks are likely from his time living outdoors, and he’s quickly remembering good habits. Like any classic Beagle, Angus definitely has a voice—and he’s proud of it! If he hears a noise, sees someone at the door, or decides he has something important to say, he’ll be sure to let you know. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a big heart, a great snuggle game, and a little Beagle “talk,” Angus may be the perfect fit. If you are interested in adopting Angus, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.   **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. ** December 15, 2025, 11:19 am
