Story
Senior for a Senior that loves walks! Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com Jelly Bean is a 7 yr old 9 mos and 32 lb Retriever/Beagle mix. Her mom that had her for 6 years had to leave her behind as she had to go to an assisted living facility in Apr 2023. Jelly Bean is getting depressed. She has gone to every adoption event on Saturdays and has been overlooked because she is a senior dog. She loves walks, car rides, bones and destroying stuffed dog toys. She is house and crate trained. She does require a securely fenced yard since she is part Beagle follows her nose. Since she lived with her mom for 6 years as an only pet, she prefers to be the only pet (no dogs or cats). She unconditionally loves her humans and loves her daily walks. Please adopt this senior active gem. Pssst a nice person has paid most of her adoption fee. Courtesay post for Helotes Humane Society. L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 800,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Please contact us to ask about our adoption process and our adoption fees.

Story
Hi, I'm Lee! I'm a super friendly and loving boy that adores people so much it makes me get the zoomies!!! Even though I'm a happy boy now, I haven't always been this way... For the majority of my life, I lived in a tiny cage at an animal testing laboratory and was subjected to painful experiments every day. Now that I've been rescued by Beagle Freedom Project, I am loving my new life! Despite everything that I've been through, I am such a joyous dog now. I do well with other friendly dogs, too! I am active and playful and my ideal forever home will be one with lots of fun adventures and play opportunities! I promise to be the most loyal and loving companion ever for my adopter. Could you give me my forever home? I would prefer a home that has: lots of love! My location: NOWATA, OK If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/adopt/ Please email the Beagle Freedom Project Team with questions at: adopt@bfp.org. Story
Hi all, I'm Portia, a super sweet beagle girl. You wouldn't guess it based on my gentle personality, but I actually spent the majority of my life in an animal testing laboratory where i was subjected to painful experiments. Did you know that animal testing involves experimentation on dogs and cats, too? Now that I've been rescued by Beagle Freedom Project, I'm learning what it means to be loved and cared for! I am slowly blossoming into the most darling girl. I can be shy at first because of my past but, once I trust you, I want nothing more than your affection and love. I'll do best in a home that has another confident and friendly dog to encourage me and make me feel safe. I hope that an adopter notices me soon-- I am so deserving of a loving, forever home, especially after overcoming so much. Could you be my forever family? I would prefer a home that has: other dogs, lots of love! My location: PAULSBORO, NJ *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. Story
Hi there! My name is Doug, I'm the sweetest and most gentle beagle boy. I spent the majority of my life in an animal testing laboratory where I was subjected to painful experiments. Did you know that animal testing involves experimentation on dogs like me? Now that I've been rescued by beagle Freedom Project, I'm loving my new life and gaining confidence every day. Despite my rough beginning, I am a gentle and sweet soul. I love exploring, whether it's going for a long walk in the park or just sniffing about in a yard. While I get along well with other dogs and would LOVE a home with a friendly pup friend, I haven't had much exposure to children or cats yet. I would absolutely thrive in a patient home with those excited to have a furry family member! I hope someone notices me soon... could you be my adopter? I would prefer a home that has: other dogs, lots of love!
