Story
Clooney is an 8 year old Beagle, Hound mix looking for a new home.  He is used to being the only dog in the house and has not been properly socialized, therefore does not do well sharing with other dogs.  Clooney needs training with positive reinforcement.  He likes his people and makes a great companion.  He is a Hound that follows his nose so he will need leash walks or a fenced area to roam in.  If you can help with fostering this handsome guy until we can find him a great new home, please let us know.  ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 6, 2024, 7:28 pm

Story
Silly Lil Stella is a young, perfect sized, medium girl that has the best smile and the most fun personality.  This white nugget is believed to be a Beagle/Greyhound mix who is only 18 months old and 34 pounds.  Stella is super cuddly and loving and looks much smaller than her weight suggests.  She is light and wispy and easy to have on your lap and does so well with other companion dogs and cats in the home.  She is housebroken and crate trained and was found as a stray that needed a helping hand.  She would be a great companion for a single person or young couple or even empty nesters.  She will need physical exercise outlets daily and would thrive learning new commands and dog manners.  If you are interested in this girl, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 6, 2024, 7:28 pm

Story
This small, 20 lb Beagle girl is called Ruth Anne and she's everything you want in a dog.  At just 2.5 years, this girl and her sister were found as a stray by a good Samaritan who took them both home.  We love her rich coloring and sweet demeanor.  She gets along great with other dogs, is playful but still low-key and honestly is not a barker.  Ruth Anne has so much to offer any type of family.  She fits in well anywhere and doesn't seem to have any issues to overcome.  If you are interested please email directly to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 6, 2024, 7:28 pm

Story
Sweet Willy came from a home where he and 9 other Beagles were chained to garbage cans their entire lives. Taken off the chains only when the owner hunted with them. Willy had the worst situation of them all, his garbage can was so small that her couldn't even stand up in it! His back was so sore when he arrived that it took him a week or so before he could comfortably run and play with the gang. He was chained up like that for 10 YEARS! Willy is the sweetest boy you will ever meet and just needs a home where he can live out his days with lots of love and good care. He is very healthy, heart worm negative, crate trained microchipped and ready for his forever home. Could that be you? Please give him a chance! PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE $250

Story
Roxy Razzy Bea is a precious little Beagle/Bluetick Coonhound mix girl that is 6-7 years old and just simply adorable.  Have you ever seen such a sweet and kind face with deeply pleading eyes?  This girl found herself in a little shelter in East Tennessee and Critter Cavalry Rescue got her out to find the perfect Beagle loving family.  Roxy is so petite and only weighs about 25 pounds.  She has a sweet and gentle nature and will follow you around where ever you go.  She loves to sit with her head on your lap and fall asleep.  Roxy is good with other dogs and loves all people she meets.  She is interested in birds flying by and anything that runs; a true hound Hound that follows her nose.  So, you need to be careful she doesn’t scoot out of an open door and will probably need a fenced yard.  She is always happy and is an easy dog to have around.  If you are interested, please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 6, 2024, 7:28 pm

Story
Ellie is a charming and endearing dog, whose breed is speculated to be a mix of Beagle, Border Collie, and Jack Russell. Despite her uncertain past prior to us adopting her from a rescue organization, she has flourished under our care with proper training and attention that earned her a clean bill of health on January 25th, 2024 at age 3.5-4 years old., microchipped, spayed, fully vaccinated and weighs around 37 pounds. However, due to recent changes in our career paths and an upcoming addition to our family this year, we are unable to provide Ellie with the necessary time and resources required for dogs with histories like hers - making it difficult for her to interact well with new people outside of ourselves as 'her' people.

Benny has never met a stranger. He loves almost everyone he meets, although he is a little anxious around small children. He is great with other dogs. His personality has been described as goofy. Do you see his beautiful Bette Davis eyes? Benny would make a great second dog. Benny had a fractured leg. He has had FHO surgery 3/2023 and is all healed. He puts weight on the leg but may have a limp. Katie T. has become Benny's Guardian Angel In Honor of her Grandmother. Benny comes to us from a crowded rural southwestern Virginia shelter.  Breed: beagle/hound Gender: Male DOB: approximately 5/2022 Size potential: 35 pounds PLEASE NOTE:  we only adopt to residents of the DC metro area, which includes DC, Prince Georges and Montgomery Counties in MD, and Arlington, Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudoun Counties in VA. To learn more about our upcoming events and to see which event they will be attending, please visit our event page at https://www.lostdogrescue.org/events/ (*please note that the specific event pages are typically updated on Fridays with information on which dogs will be attending which events*) Meet Duke, a very handsome hound mix with beautiful markings. This pup is quite the love bug, and he absolutely melts when you pick him up and cuddle on the couch. Duke is still in the puppy stages, being filled with playfulness and energy. His playful nips are all puppy, but he promises he doesn't mean it. A quick redirection with a game of fetch takes that energy and puts it to good use! He is still young, so Duke still has quite a lot to learn regarding commands and manners. However, he is willing to put in the hard work to try and learn new things! Duke is sweet and energetic, with lots of love to give! Please help Duke find a forever home today!

While Hershey still likes to play and go on walks, he usually has a more calm and laid-back attitude. To him, there is nothing better than "chillaxing" after a long day. Hershey also loves attention from his owner. From cuddles to pets, he is looking for someone who will always be there for him. His legs may be little, but his heart is big!
