Story
Viola is a beautiful soul that we think is about 3 year old  and a Beagle mix girl. This black and white beauty with adorable speckled legs and a sweet She only weighs 20 lbs and has the sweetest smile and absolutely loves people. She was found as a stray that was taken to the shelter very scared and almost shutdown while there. Her human mother died and Viola is now 5 years old. Unfortunately we don’t really know her story, but we feel there is some trauma there in her past. It takes her a little bit to get used to people and even longer for dogs. She wants a safe place to observe (wire crate suggested)  till she figures it out. Her foster kept her behind a gate and her bed was her safe place. For a few days she would growl through the gate at the other dogs but after that it was over. We would leave the gate open and she would venture out and if she got nervous she would go back to her safe place. She is never ugly to the other dogs at her foster and  if one of the Chihuahuas was mean to her,  she just ignored her. We have her using puppy pads because there is  no fenced yard. Viola would definetly need a fenced yard so she can safely explore and have potty breaks. The outdoors makes her nervous still. She loves her people immensely and adores  kids but older ones are best.  If you want to help and REALLY rescue a dog them Viola would be forever indebted to you.    If you are interested please email at ccrtennessee@gmail.com    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 29, 2025, 1:51 pm

📌 Important Adoption Information All of our dogs are currently living in private shelters or foster homes in South Korea. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. • Rescue Story: Say hi to OhGong👋 a sweet, friendly boy with a charming black muzzle! He was found on the street in South Korea at 3 months old and taken to a high-risk city shelter along with his five other siblings. Luckily, they were rescued right before euthanasia by the rescue team and started living with other dogs in the local shelter. Despite some time spent at the shelter, Ohgong was given a chance to live in his current foster home in June 2023. His current foster family has been taking good care of him since, and Ohgong has learned how to harmoniously live with people with love, and now he is ready to find his forever home😊 • Personality: Friendly, Sweet, Gentle Just like when OhGong was widely known for his super friendly personality among the shelter staff, he continued to be very loving and sweet to his foster family. He loves to kiss you and be petted by you. His energy level is medium. He is usually calm at home but becomes active when playing with toys! Plus, he is such a gentle walker. • Affinity with - Dogs: Very dog-friendly! He doesn’t even bark towards other dogs. - Cats: He tends to chase cats out of curiosity but doesn’t show aggression. - Adults/Kids: Good with people in general but a little bit shy around male adults / Okay with kids. He is rather indifferent to them. • Walking Manners: Super well-mannered! Pacing with his person without pulling the leash. He responds to “Let’s go” while sniffing around. • Housetrained: Fully housebroken, going potty outdoors as well as using pee-pads indoors • Bathing/Brushing: Tolerates both very well. • Car Rides: Very comfortable with car rides. • Shedding level (1~10): 5-6 • Separation Anxiety: None. He showed some signs of separation anxiety at the beginning of foster, but not anymore when two months of foster passed. He spends most of his time sleeping while he is left alone at home. • Barks/Howls: Almost none. Just a little bit of barking only when greeting his family at home. • Appetite/Food Allergies: No allergies. • Likes/Dislikes: OhGong LOOOVES playing with toys, especially squeaky ones! He seems to even prefer toys to treats. • Health: a healthy boy! 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: International transportation, Customs and export documentation, Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee. Your support directly helps us continue rescuing and caring for dogs in need, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding.

5 years old, 30 pounds Personality: outgoing, affectionate, quiet, calm, trustworthy, gentle, snuggler, eager-to-please, easygoing, loyal, energetic, goofy, funny, patient, adaptable, and playful. Meet the marvelous Mrs. Melba, whose uniquely expressive face is only matched by her dazzling personality. This gentle gal has a wonderfully affectionate and easygoing nature. In fact, all you need to do is smile at her and her whole body will wag. She’ll show you just how much she loves you by how she wiggles and squirms when you enter the room. Melba is house trained and crate trained, and she knows the words “stop” and “no.” She has shown gentle manners when meeting new people and is good with other dogs on and off leash — her happy tail goes right into action. This little explorer loves sniffy walks outside and will wait patiently while you put on her harness or jacket. And while she occasionally partakes in that trademark beagle awooo, she is more often a quiet, reserved pup. Does funny, easygoing Melba sound like a good fit for your home? Please contact Connie Kiggins (conniek@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.sweet baby girl seeking happily ever after! OLIVE NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!   Come meet Olive and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (Feb. 8th) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Rockville (5154 Nicholson Ln, Kensington, MD 20895)!     Name:   Olive         Best Guess for Breed:    Basset hound mix   Best Guess for Age:  4 months as of February 2026           SEX:    Female   Estimated Weight (puppies' weights change quickly!):   16.4 lbs as of 2/1/26   Gets Along With:        Most puppies are in the prime of their socialization window and will do well with other dogs, cats and kids so long as they receive patience and proper training.   Currently Living at: DC area foster home   Special Adoption Considerations:       Puppies under 6 months of age need to have multiple potty breaks/exercise throughout the day. Potential adopters with a standard 8-hour workday must be willing to make arrangements to meet the needs of their puppy.  Olive is Looking For:   Hi! Me and my sisters (there are four of us - Opal, Olivia, Olive, and Oakley) are satos from Puerto Rico. (Yes, that means our best guess for breed is just that - a guess - because we're elongated with short legs!) Growing up together has been great but now we're ready to split up and get our own human families in the DC area - we've talked it over and this is what we want: Play time - all those puppy zoomies! Snuggles and cuddles! World exploration! I promise to give you so many adoring gazes and kisses, and so much love and loyalty for all my days. What do you say? Do I get to grow up with you? What My Foster Says About Me: We will update this once she has spent time in foster care. Puppy Vetting Requirements:        Lucky Puppies have had their age appropriate vaccines, but may not yet be “fully” vaccinated. It is the adopter’s responsibility to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time. Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, they are at greater risk for illness than an adult dog.      Your new puppy will need to work on their house training and will also need to go to obedience school so they can grow into a well-socialized dog!  TO ADOPT:       The adoption fee for this puppy is $485, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter.    If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online bit.ly/adoptaluckydog   Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption. OAKLEY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!   Come meet Oakley and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (Feb. 8th) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Rockville (5154 Nicholson Ln, Kensington, MD 20895)!     Name:   Oakley        Best Guess for Breed:    Basset hound mix   Best Guess for Age:  4 months as of February 2026         SEX:    Female   Estimated Weight (puppies' weights change quickly!):   18.8 lbs as of 2/1/26   Gets Along With:        Most puppies are in the prime of their socialization window and will do well with other dogs, cats and kids so long as they receive patience and proper training.   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home   Special Adoption Considerations:       Puppies under 6 months of age need to have multiple potty breaks/exercise throughout the day. Potential adopters with a standard 8-hour workday must be willing to make arrangements to meet the needs of their puppy.  Oakley is Looking For:   Hi! That said, we cannot make any guarantees about age, breed or temperament.   Thank you for contacting Lucky Dog Animal Rescue and helping to save a life! Please visit us online at        www.luckydoganimalrescue.org       . This absurdly cute low-low rider is in her prime as a young adult dog and is eager to explore the world by her humans' side - and to get all those snuggles and cuddles after a long day together. She promises adoring gazes (with or without head tilt), happy little tail wags, and loyal companionship for all her days in exchange. What do you say? Is she the one you see way down there by your side? What My Foster Says About Me:  Bratwurst is the sweetest, most loving, most snuggly girl! Don't let her size fool you, she is an energetic little lady who loves to explore, go on walks, and is doing well learning her leash skills! She has done well with meeting new people. She already knows 'sit' and has done well with housetraining. She does like the crate but much prefers sleeping in the bed. Bratwurst is super smart and would love a family who can commit to keeping her busy with training and give her lots of structure. She loves her people and would love to join your family for lots of adventures and cuddles! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
