You can't get more perfect than Mac! This 25 lb 2-year-old beagle mix checks all the boxes: he is crate trained, potty trained, good with dogs, kids, and even cats! He is always happy and eager to please his humans. It is pretty impossible to take a picture of him without his tail being a blur, because it's constantly wagging! He is pure joy and love. He walks well on the leash, And he's always up for a stroll in the neighborhood, a hike on the trail, or a game of fetch or tug in the yard. Having a quieter day? Worry not. Mac will curl up next to you for a good snuggle on those lazy rainy Sunday mornings. We know what you're thinking. Oh, he's a beagle mix, he must bark a lot. Sorry to burst your bubble! Mac is not much of a barker. Even when his next door neighbor barks at him each time he steps foot outside, Mac marches on unbothered and with a smile on his face. Meet Violet! Violet may be one-eyed, blind and deaf, but don’t let that fool you ~ this girl is still living her best adventurous life. Found as a stray, Violet took to the skies on a volunteer flight to freedom at Miri's Haven. She loves strolling the yard, politely requesting pats and attention, and if fried chicken enters the house, she will locate it with shocking accuracy. Violet may be adorable, but she has standards: soft beds are required, fluffy blankets are mandatory, and rolling around in said blankets is a daily ritual. She is house trained when kept on a schedule and taken out regularly, and she's looking for a home without stairs. Or with a human servant prepared to carry her up and down like the Beagle Queen she is - either will do. Violet adores pets and attention, and absolutely loves food - and even the smell of it! This smart girl is food- and scent-motivated, and she's learning how much fun snuffle mats are. She especially loves snacking on dried sweet potato. Violet isn't leash-trained but loves to be outside, so she's looking for a home with a fenced in yard where she can do all the sniffing her heart desires. She'll do best in a family that can provide structure and a consistent routine. Violet is a great passenger in the car, sleeps soundly through the night, and doesn't mind staying home when her humans are out. She gets along well with everyone - kids, cats, and other dogs included. She needs daily eye drops but takes them easily like a great patient. This little 20 pound beagle lab mix came to us from a rural shelter alongside his three siblings, and while they bounced around playing, Henry often sat on the sidelines, watching. The Freckles crew noticed his strange walk and soon discovered after a series of diagnostics, he was diagnosed with luxating patellas in both back legs and required surgery. Thanks to Freckles Foundation and his incredibly dedicated foster family, Henry received the care he needed and worked hard through rehab like an absolute champ. In foster care, Henry is rockin it!! Showing off his sweet, playful, and gentle personality. He is even running around with his Great Dane foster sibling. Since he is already 9 months , he will stay small and soft and sweet. Henry gets along beautifully with kids, dogs, and even cats. He’s 100% house-trained, crate-trained, and an all-around well-mannered pup. Now, all Henry needs is his happily ever after—a loving home that will cherish him for the truly special soul he is. 🏡 This dog is fixed, fully vaccinated, and current on preventatives.
