Rollie was surrendered after his owner died. He had never lived inside until he came into rescue. He is now house and crate trained. He does love to run and play and hide his bones outside. He had very little socialization with other dogs and is a little dog selective (prefers females more than males). He's more of a loner than most. He has always been crated inside to avoid the mischief a beagle tends to get into with chewing items he isn't supposed to be chewing. It is more for his safety of not swallowing anything harmful. He will bark to let you know when he needs to go potty. He has been completely vetted. He deserves a home of his own to retire in and enjoy the rest of his life. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. Meet Violet! Violet may be one-eyed, blind and deaf, but don’t let that fool you ~ this girl is still living her best adventurous life. Found as a stray, Violet took to the skies on a volunteer flight to freedom at Miri's Haven. She loves strolling the yard, politely requesting pats and attention, and if fried chicken enters the house, she will locate it with shocking accuracy. Violet may be adorable, but she has standards: soft beds are required, fluffy blankets are mandatory, and rolling around in said blankets is a daily ritual. She is house trained when kept on a schedule and taken out regularly, and she's looking for a home without stairs. Or with a human servant prepared to carry her up and down like the Beagle Queen she is - either will do. Violet adores pets and attention, and absolutely loves food - and even the smell of it! This smart girl is food- and scent-motivated, and she's learning how much fun snuffle mats are. She especially loves snacking on dried sweet potato. Violet isn't leash-trained but loves to be outside, so she's looking for a home with a fenced in yard where she can do all the sniffing her heart desires. She'll do best in a family that can provide structure and a consistent routine. Violet is a great passenger in the car, sleeps soundly through the night, and doesn't mind staying home when her humans are out. She gets along well with everyone - kids, cats, and other dogs included. She needs daily eye drops but takes them easily like a great patient. This spunky little 7-pound, 2-month-old ginger girl is the kind of puppy who makes everything feel like the most exciting event of the day, and honestly, she's not wrong. Playful, curious, and absolutely full of personality, Rumi loves toys, loves people, and really loves other dogs. She's happy to entertain herself for a bit, but what she truly wants is to be in the middle of the action with you. Whether it's a play session, a cuddle, or just hanging out together, she is all in. She even gets thrilled when her water bowl is being filled. The simple joys of puppyhood! Rumi is doing well with sleep, making it through the night without a peep. Fair warning though - the moment she hears you stirring in the morning, her day has officially begun and she is ready. Coffee first, then puppy. You've been advised. She's still working on house training, as you'd expect from a two-month-old, so patience and consistency will go a long way. She's also a little escape artist in the making - she's already conquered a 2.5 ft puppy pen, though a 4 ft barrier has kept her contained so far. For now. She’s not aggressive, just gently possessive. - Dogs – Nora enjoys the company of other dogs of all sizes with a similar demeanor. She occasionally runs zoomies but spends most of her time lounging by her humans. - Cats and kids – Unknown, but Nora would likely do best in an easygoing, quieter home with adults. Training & Growth - Learning Off, Stay, No, and responding well. Nora gently jumps on her people for attention. - Wants to please and will thrive with calm guidance and positive reinforcement.
