We adopted her on 01/16/26 after discovering the shelter was going to euthanize her due to being overcrowded. She is a very sweet and playful dog, has been around other smalls dogs and children with no issues. She was found in a ditch in the side of a freeway and has a limp in her front right leg, the vet stated it is only a soft tissue injury and she will recover. She seems to be very young still. Due to living with elderly parents we are unable to keep her permanently.

Hello, everyone. I'm Princess! I am 4 years young. I was found in the streets of Tijuana. I was one of the lucky pregnant doggies brought into a Good Samaritan foster home in Mexico where I gave birth to 6 pups. All of my pups have been adopted in LA now. Rescue is hoping to find me a foster or better yet an adopter to bring me to LA and start my new life. I am spayed, vaccinated, and chipped. I am dog, kid, and people friendly. My wish is to find an active family to go on hikes, go camping, the beach, and fetch with the kids in the yard, but most of all a family of my own. Will you be that family for me?

They were being given away &#39free to good home&#39 and were rescued by an animal lover who didn&#39t want to see them land in the wrong hands! Fiona settled into the kennel life very easily and charmed her way into the hearts of all of the volunteers. She needed treatment for a cancerous tumor that she likely got when she became pregnant with her pups.The good news here is that she is done with her treatments and has been cancer free for over 6 months! Yay for Fiona! Fiona would love a home to call her own. She has been to obedience training, knows all her basic commands and walks well on a leash.She would do best in a home with older kids and no other dogs or cats. She loves car rides and would love an active lifestyle!If Fiona sounds like a fit for you, please let us know. We would love to chat with you about Fiona!The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old).
