They were being given away &#39free to good home&#39 and were rescued by an animal lover who didn&#39t want to see them land in the wrong hands! Fiona settled into the kennel life very easily and charmed her way into the hearts of all of the volunteers. She needed treatment for a cancerous tumor that she likely got when she became pregnant with her pups.The good news here is that she is done with her treatments and has been cancer free for over 6 months! Yay for Fiona! Fiona would love a home to call her own. She has been to obedience training, knows all her basic commands and walks well on a leash.She would do best in a home with older kids and no other dogs or cats. She loves car rides and would love an active lifestyle!If Fiona sounds like a fit for you, please let us know. We would love to chat with you about Fiona!The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Hello, everyone. I'm Princess! I am 4 years young. I was found in the streets of Tijuana. I was one of the lucky pregnant doggies brought into a Good Samaritan foster home in Mexico where I gave birth to 6 pups. All of my pups have been adopted in LA now. Rescue is hoping to find me a foster or better yet an adopter to bring me to LA and start my new life. I am spayed, vaccinated, and chipped. I am dog, kid, and people friendly. My wish is to find an active family to go on hikes, go camping, the beach, and fetch with the kids in the yard, but most of all a family of my own. Will you be that family for me?

Meet FRANCO, a 2yo shepherd/malinois mix. We rescued FRANCO from the Downey shelter where he had shown up with a broken leg. He's long since healed up and he's looking for a forever home with someone who ideally has "shepherd and/or working dog" experience. FRANCO is a young, athletic dog who responds well to a confident leader. He is very loving, attentive, and loyal. He likes long walks, jogs, and he LOVES playing in water. Hi Meet Sweet Carolin. We rescued 5 year old Carolin from North Central Shelter after she had been there for 8 months patiently waiting for a home. We think she is a shepherd/husky mix and she weighs about 55lbs. Carolin is shy with people but has a gentle soul. She feels safest with dogs and is currently in a foster home with three other dogs who are showing her what life with people is like and that the world isn't so scary.
