Kylie was found on the streets of Ontario protecting her sister Kendal. We brought her to our home so they would not be killed at the shelter. Kylie is so very sweet and is so proud of being the best sitter she can be. She is very receptive to training and loves to play with toys as much as she can. She has dominant behaviors which may be from litter syndrome with her sister so may do best with male dogs or on her own if she gets the time and commitment she needs. I am willing to work with her adopter to help with medical costs if needed as she will need up to date vaccines. Please help us find Kylie a second chance at life as soon as possible.

Kendal was found on the streets of Ontario as a pup. She was brought into our home with her sister and is so very sweet. She loves to play fetch and eat bones all day. She has very high drive and loves to sit outside and watch the dogs from behind the pillars to make sure the don’t see her. She may have litter syndrome which is why we want to rehome her as soon as we can to give her the best chance at a better, trained life. She will need training as she is still a puppy and Vaccines and Spaying if needed but I am willing to work with her adopter to help with these costs if needed. Please help Kendal

They were being given away 'free to good home' and were rescued by an animal lover who didn't want to see them land in the wrong hands! Fiona settled into the kennel life very easily and charmed her way into the hearts of all of the volunteers. She needed treatment for a cancerous tumor that she likely got when she became pregnant with her pups. The good news here is that she is done with her treatments and has been cancer free for over 6 months! Yay for Fiona! Fiona would love a home to call her own. She has been to obedience training, knows all her basic commands and walks well on a leash. She would do best in a home with older kids and no other dogs or cats. She loves car rides and would love an active lifestyle! If Fiona sounds like a fit for you, please let us know. We would love to chat with you about Fiona! I'm a little shy at first, but as soon as I know I can trust you, I just want your love & to love you. Psst... this can easily be accomplished by brushing me!! (Hint, hint!!) I am a female, Belgian Malinois mix and around 3 yrs young. I play well with other dogs of all sizes, I'm ok with cats & children. Sometimes I do like chasing squirrels though because they sit there and laugh at me. I was abandoned by my owner when they moved and left Blue & I behind. I was forced to live outside with Blue in the front yard of my old house. The new residents wouldn't let us come inside and fed us their scraps if they had any. Then, one day, Blue and I were out front playing and some scary person just snatched me up and took me to this stinky, scary place that had a bunch of other dogs there. I didn't like that place. After being there a few weeks I was scheduled to be put down, but thankfully an independent Rescuer, who originally saw me on the street and was trying to help me saw my picture along with my buddy Blue, and found a rescue to come save me. I arrived at my foster mom’s house and I was so happy to see my buddy Blue there too!! He's my best friend, my rock, my solid, my everything. I'm a very well behaved girl! I love to play hide and seek with Blue. I'm submissive and avoid confrontation. I still need some help with basic commands, but in time, I will get there. Sweet Elle was rescued just hours before she was to be killed for space at Downey Shelter. Elle is a sweet girl with lots of energy and an eagerness to please and learn from her owner/handler. Elle was emaciated when we rescued her and is currently at 54 pounds, but I still think she should gain a few more. Elle is house trained and crate trained and knows sit well. Elle is also good walking on a leash, but needs a little more work on pulling. Elle gets along great with other dogs, but does need a day or two to acclimate to a new one. She is good with little dogs, but tends to play rough, so a bigger young dog to play with and keep her company would be wonderful for her. Elle is now spayed, up to date on all vaccinations (including rabies), and microchipped. Elle does have a very small umbilical hernia that we will have fixed when and if she ever has to undergo anesthesia again (maybe for a dental in future, etc). We just do not want to put her under again for something unnecessary. Elle's adoption donation is $450.
