Story
Meet Gypsy! She is 3 years old and her prior owner said she does well with other dogs, respectful kids and even cats! She walks well on leash, loves nature and the outdoors. She is an amazing travel companion too! She is extremely smart and takes after her Belgian Malinois side of being a quick learner and loves to have jobs and tasks. Her Pitbull nature makes her very affectionate and loving. She was first found living on the street and is weary of strangers so will need a patient family to show her she can trust them. She learns to love and trust quickly. Car rides are one of her favorite things and she always buckles up in her doggy seatbelt for safety without a problem. Gypsy also enjoys being in the water. If you're looking for a loyal friend who's ready for adventures and has a magical tale to tell, Gypsy is the dog for you.July 25, 2024, 8:48 pm

Story
Tulip is a gorgeous 6 month old female Dutch shepherd mix puppy that is adorably shy, loving and ready for her forever family.  Tulip weighs 28 pounds of love and sweetness and she arrived very frightened of people and was extremely shy and closed off.  We sent beautiful Tulip to a board and train, where she lived in a home with the trainer and his family. She has blossomed into a more confident version of her sweet self and continues to improve daily.  Tulip is dog friendly with other friendly dogs and loves going on walks and loves children.  She’s seeing things as though it’s the first time, but is thriving and is such a beautiful and loving puppy.  She is crate trained, well behaved in the home and is so deserving of her happily ever after.  We encourage Tulip’s adopter to provide her with stability, structure, consistency, love and continue the training she’s learned to set her up for success. Tulip will be a beautiful addition to any loving family wanting to bring home a gorgeous 6 month old female puppy. If you're interested in adopting Tulip, please fill out an application at www.doggiebonez.com. You can also check out our social media pages on Instagram (@Doggie_Bonez_Inc_) and Facebook (Doggie Bonez) to see more of Tulip's cuteness. Our adoption fee for dogs, which includes vaccinations, fecal testing, wellness exams, microchipping, spaying, or neutering, is $500. If adoption isn't feasible, please consider fostering one of our pups. We are a volunteer-run non-profit dog rescue and always welcome new short or long-term doggie foster families. Doggie Bonez will provide you with everything you need, including dog food, a bed, toys, medical attention (if required), and more. So, if you're interested, please visit www.doggiebonez.com to see all of our available dogs who need a foster family while waiting for their forever home and complete the foster application.July 23, 2024, 4:47 pm

Leah IS AVAILALBE (updated 07-26-2024).To meet any of our dogs you must first complete our online adoption application on our website. For more information and the adoption application for Leah, please visit our website belowhttp://www.coastalgsr.org/dog_profile.php?ID=22329&name=LeahLeah came to us a terrified, shut down, feral dog whom animal control had confiscated from a very bad situation. She was so shut down, it took a long (long!) time to get her to allow any type of interaction with humans. We spent month after month earning her trust, socializing her, and teaching her to overcome her many fears. Around 6 years old now, she moved from the training facility into a foster home and is doing fantastic, but will need a special adopter. At first, she was scared to enter the house, the tile scared her, and it took coaxing for her to enter. Leah now seeks affection, is playing with toys, plays with her human foster, is totally comfortable being inside, crate trained, potty trained, and is learning that the world isnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t such a scary place. She went to the beach for the first time and loved it!While she&#39s your normal, energetic Maligator in her foster home, she is still figuring out the world outside of those doors. She spends time every day being exposed to new things, but when she&#39s scared she does try to bolt. She used to hit the end of the leash and frantically chew to break free (which is why she wears a long fur saver), but now, when something new and loud is that scary, she bolts and stops when she hits the end of the leash, even going into a sit. Leah is a jaw snapping, toy playing, chew obsessed Malinois in her home and is going to need someone who understands Mals, who can supply structure, who is patient, and who can slowly build trust with her. Because she&#39s such a flight risk, we are going to be very careful about where we place her, because she means the world to us.The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.July 26, 2024, 5:38 am

They were being given away &#39free to good home&#39 and were rescued by an animal lover who didn&#39t want to see them land in the wrong hands! Fiona settled into the kennel life very easily and charmed her way into the hearts of all of the volunteers. She needed treatment for a cancerous tumor that she likely got when she became pregnant with her pups. The good news here is that she is done with her treatments and has been cancer free for over 6 months! Yay for Fiona! Fiona would love a home to call her own. She has been to obedience training, knows all her basic commands and walks well on a leash. She would do best in a home with older kids and no other dogs or cats. She loves car rides and would love an active lifestyle! If Fiona sounds like a fit for you, please let us know. This handsome boy has basic obedience down, is crate trained, walks well on a leash and loves being with &#39his&#39 person. He is a little cautious when meeting new people but warms up quickly if he&#39s given the space to get to know you. He has a medium prey drive when it comes to toys, but does well with other dogs, big and small. We are unsure of how he is with cats in a household, but he hasn&#39t shown much interest when he encounters them out and about in town. He loves his daily walks and runs and would be the perfect addition to an active household. He could also make a good candidate for low level sport dog work as he&#39s showing good drive in his training. He will need a secure yard as he can jump upwards of 6â&#194&#128&#194&#153 fences. He&#39s neutered and up to date on his vaccines. Please inquire only if you have experience with Working Dogs and/or the Belgian Malinois breed. The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. Story
Gorgeous, house trained, crate trained, walks well on leash, loves to be active, knows her basic commands, and ready to go home with you; that’s our Daisy Ann! Daisy’s foster mom recently had this to say: “Daisy Ann is a beautiful dog. She is protective and loyal. She loves her adult humans and wants to be with them often. She likes to walk and play with toys and her humans!” Daisy Ann is a super-duper happy girl - just look at that face! She’s big, beautiful, and bright! She is about 2.5 years old, about 75 pounds, food motivated, and good with calm dogs. She is shy and needs confidence around both people and dogs - that's where you come in! If you are a strong and active pack leader who will keep up the good work and show her that she is safe, Daisy Ann is looking for you! She isn't looking for kitties, however, and would do best with respectful kids that are at least 10 years old. Please fill out an application to meet this gorgeous girl today!July 25, 2024, 8:48 pm

Uber friendly, just call me Xena Warrior Princess, warrior of love. I am a 98 lb., 4-5-year-old beauty; at least that is what I am told! When we first meet, I'll likely try to hold hands with you by giving you my paw. Next up? Belly rubs, please. After that? Well, the sky is the limit, right? You cannot do better than me for a wonderful, super-duper, great dog: young adult, potty trained, OK with other big dogs, know basic commands, love to catch the water from the hose, love my toys, and will love you more than you can imagine. Currently in Orange County, CA., my hooman pawrents had to give me up because they were older and no longer able to take care of me. Will you be my best friend and play with me? Story
Beautiful, very friendly, smart, good with dogs, good with kids, that is me. Named Kida, I'm 80 pounds of smart, sweet 3-year-old Shepherd. Before TLRD saved me, I had puppies and we were left outside 24/7 with no food and our humans would 'forget' to fill our water bowls, even during the hottest days. TLRD came along and found a much better place for us. Now? I am ready for humans 2.0 - the better version that adores me as much as I do them. I promise I will be the most awesome dog ever.'Kida is the resident princess of the Red Dog House facility. She's always composed, poised, and gorgeous! She is one of the sweetest babies there, and looks great while she does her stuff. Don't let her composure fool you, she loves a good back/belly rub, and loves to lick your face. She takes my breath away everyday I see her. Not to mention, she's sharp as a tack! She'd be a great addition to any family!' -Kathy volunteer at The Red Dog HouseJuly 25, 2024, 8:48 pm
