He came to our rescue as part of a memorable litter of **11 puppies**, along with their mom, who was also taken in by us. Because the puppies all looked so different, DNA testing was done on several of them—including Cane. His mom’s DNA confirmed she is a **Malinois/German Shepherd mix**, and Cane’s own results showed a mix of **27% Belgian Malinois, 26% Golden Retriever, 21% Siberian Husky, and 15% German Shepherd**. Cane is a **handsome charmer** who absolutely loves attention. He’s known for giving the best hugs and truly believes he’s a lap dog. Cane enjoys playing with his siblings and has a **respectful, well-mannered play style**. He does great with other dogs and has even been tested with **small dogs**, where he did wonderfully. Cane is an **active dog** who will need daily exercise and regular activity to stay happy and balanced. Like his brothers and sisters, he’s always ready to go—playful, curious, cuddly, and endlessly sweet. When playtime is over, he’s more than happy to soak up pets, affection, and quality time with his people. He is friendly with everyone he meets and gets along well with other dogs. Cane is curious about the goats at the rescue but has shown **no aggression**, and he has shown little interest in the chickens when they’re in their coop. He has not yet been tested with cats. Meet Clara! 🌟 Clara is a beautiful 15-month-old young dog who came to our rescue as part of a very special litter of 11 puppies, along with their mom. Mom’s DNA confirmed she is a Malinois/German Shepherd mix, and because the puppies all looked so different, DNA testing was done on several of them. Two siblings tested as a balanced mix of Golden Retriever, German Shepherd, Husky, and Belgian Malinois, while another tested as 50% Australian Shepherd mixed with mom’s Malinois/German Shepherd blend—proof that this litter had more than one dad! Clara looked like she could fall into either group, so we did her DNA as well. Even though she’s on the smaller side, her results placed her in the Golden Retriever group: she is 26% Golden Retriever, 26% Belgian Malinois, 22% Siberian Husky, and 16% German Shepherd. While Clara may be one of the smaller pups in the litter, her size does not affect her confidence one bit. She holds her own with all of her brothers and sisters and is always right in the middle of the fun. She’s playful, curious, affectionate, and full of personality. Clara is an active dog who will need daily exercise and regular activity to stay happy and well-balanced. Like her siblings, she’s always ready for the next adventure. But she also has a wonderfully sweet side—she can happily sit for long stretches while you rub her belly, soaking up every bit of affection. She does well with other dogs and enjoys being part of a pack. Clara has not yet been tested with cats. Clara is vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. She is nearly fully potty trained and would thrive in a home where her training can continue with consistency, patience, and love. Nova is a purebred Belgian Malinois she was surrendered at a shelter on Christmas Eve. My husband wanted to get her to train for protection while he’s on deployments. Unfortunately the military changed our orders and we’ll be moving overseas and are unable to take her with us. We have 2 other dogs she gets along well with, she’s great with our 3 kids. She’s still a puppy and definitely has puppy behavior but she knows basic commands and is for the most part kennel trained. She’ll stay in the kennel overnight for at least 6 hours no crying. Will be rehoming her with her ruffland kennel she is trained in. She has so much potential still being a puppy and we just want her to go to a good home preferably someone who has experience with Malis or GSDs.

Star was found w/ another Shepherd about 2 yrs ago. We vetted/ spayed and rehomed the girls to a family with many kids. They had a large backyard with a covered patio and doggie door to the garage. Sadly they moved out of state and left them behind. Star will transition into house life with proper training. She comes inside into crate happily at night or in rain weather. I take her for walks often and she is ok on leash. She can get excited if she sees a squirrel. Star will sit, off, and down. She could use some consistency with training and more attention than we can offer. Star can be food dominant at times, but is good for humans with food. With experienced owner she can be with other dogs. The girls had a playmate come visit at previous home. Once Star feels safe she will be a great smart and loyal companion who will love belly rubs and her kind human friend. Star really wants to please and be a good dog once she Trusts you. Can adopt w/ Penny

Penny was found with her friend Star and we vetted the girls and rehomed them a couple years ago. The family moved out of state and were unable to take them with and we are seeking a new home. Penny would probably do BEST and happiest as the only dog bc she LOVES human companionship so much and loves children too. She is a beautiful and loyal girl who would like a great home hanging out with her family. She is sure to make you smile. She was in a home living with a female dog. She isn't a great dog playmate and wants to be a human friend. We can also rehome her with Star if you are looking for a pair of Shepherds.

Hi! I rescued this cutie pie from the shelter, as well as his 5 other litter mates & mama. This shelter does not offer a foster program, & unfortunately gets overcrowded easily so they tend to end up euthanizing mom & babies to make room - I decided to adopt all of them in hopes I can foster that way & find them their forever home. He’s 3.5 months old, has been around kids, cats, & other dogs which he does amazing with! Please be advised since he has husky in him they have tendencies to be escape artists, may howl, & can jump! I’d love to find an experienced adopter that understands what can come of having this little guy to ensure he goes to an amazing home.
