Age: Approximately 2 year old Weight: 35 lbs Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: No Kid friendly: Yes Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes My name is Bosco and I am a wonderful, loving boy looking for a great forever time. Snuggles? Check! Playing Tug? Check! Playing fetch? Check. Cute as can be? Check. I have enjoyed being with my foster family a lot, but it is time to find my forever home. I have had a blast playing with their three dogs and two boys. I wrestle, play and romp with the pups. I also love to play tug and cuddle with the boys. I would do great whether I am an only dog or in a pack. I am potty trained and sleep in my crate at night. I also ride in the car well. Like most all of us, humans and canines alike, I would really do well with a little training. I am pretty darn smart and will do very well with it. I really can’t wait to get to my forever home. Is it your’s? Adoption Fee:$425

Story
I am looking for a foster or forever family! Please email fostersupport@thebondbetween.org if you can say YES to fostering this animal! Select the "Apply for Adoption" if you would like to adopt Hi, my name is Acorn and I am from Minnesota! Acorn is young, cute, and full of energy. He's a great playmate for our other dog. We do have to watch that they don't start to play too rough. But when we tell them to break it up, Acorn is great at suddenly acting like an angel. He's got those big eyes that almost pop out of his head. He's not totally potty trained at this point, but we are working on it. I'm sure being in his forever home would only help with this. We also have a cat. Acorn does well with him too, but again we still don't leave them unsupervised yet at this point. Because occasionally Acorn will nip at him. But again you just reprimand him and he knocks it off. We have not had him around children at all, but my guess would be he'd do fine. As long as you keep an eye on them at first. He loves to cuddle when his energy finally runs out at the end of the day. He would be a perfect fit for any experienced dog owner. Or even a first timer, as long as you have the time and energy to give him proper guidance as he continues to transition out of puppyhood. He loves treats, but not rawhides (he swallowed one at the shelter before we picked him up, and had an upset tummy for a few days). And car rides (but he might try to stand on your center console and lick your face).

Story
Meet Nova! She’s about 1 year old and a mix of a bunch of smart dogs! Nova’s perfect match would be a home without young children. She would thrive in an home with adult(s) who understand working breed dogs. Nova is crate trained and quickly learns the rhythm of her day. Nova is mat trained, and any old towel or blanket will do. She loves a “job” and does very well with firm consistent rules. Nova loves to play fetch, tug of war and find it. She’s willing to work and learn. She is fully trained in our invisible fence and loves to sniff around in her backyard and chase birds, bunnies etc. Nova sleeps through the night and is fully potty trained. Nova has many characteristics of a GSD- loyal, smart and ready to work. She’s goofy and playful, able to entertain herself but loves attention from her human. Nova is young and eager to learn but has mastered many of the annoying puppy habits. She’s the perfect dog for a GSDmutt loving human. Please help her find her forever home.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee: $600 plus taxAshland is a truly sweet, affectionate girl who loves her people and happily snuggles up whenever she can. She’s wonderfully quiet, rarely barks, and shows no possessiveness with food or toys. She’s also very gentle—no puppy nipping or chewing on things she shouldn’t, aside from an occasional blanket edge. Ashland is smart and eager to learn, already picking up cues like come and sit with ease. She has great recall and naturally stays close to her people outside, making her a great candidate for hiking and future off-leash adventures. She’s food motivated, which has helped her make good progress with housetraining, though she’s still learning and may have occasional accidents. She gets along well with other dogs and currently lives peacefully with a large dog, though she does enjoy being part of the cuddle pile. Ashland is good with kids, just a bit shy at first. She sleeps through the night in her crate and does well kenneled during the day, settling quickly and comfortably. With her gentle nature, intelligence, and loving personality, Ashland will make a wonderful companion for a lucky family.   If you have previously applied with us please email placement@midwestanimalrescue.org to reactivate your application with new interest.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  or    When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.  Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS.  We do not transport to potential adopters. I like to spend my days busying myself with toys and doggie chewies.  I like to stay active too by running and playing in the yard.  However, I usually fit a few naps into my day as well.  After all, who doesn't like a nap?  I'm learning what potty pads are and that I really should go outside to do my dirty business but it takes time to establish those habits.  I love to cuddle with my humans too. I'm searching for a fabulous forever home to share my life and love with! Do you want a great friend to join your family?  Well, adopt me and let's start making lasting memories together!
