Welcome Diamond to CCPAL Rescue. Diamond is a 3-year old GSD with really beautiful traditional looks. She is black and tan and weighs about 80 pounds. She is a tall girl and looks to be a good weight. She is good with other dogs and she loves her kennel. She is a timid girl but she does look like a formidable force. She bonds deeply and is a smart girl. She already has bonded to the kennel workers who are female. She knows sit and some hand commands and is decent on a leash. She is potty trained and good in a car. She would be great with someone that knows the breed. She is moderately active and not extremely confident. She will be a wonderful companion dog and would be good with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is currently spayed and vaccinated. She is healthy and looking for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. . Her adoption fee is $400 and transport is $200. I am a gorgeous, sweet, and very kind albeit shy adult female German Shepherd. Truth be told, I am afraid of pretty much everything in this enormous world from commotion to loud noises like thunderstorms so a fenced yard is a must. Additionally, I am looking for a VERY special fur-ever family who is lovingly patient and will NEVER give up on me! I have not met any cats or kids, but I am good with other dogs and will need another large dog who will help me feel comfortable and secure! I don’t play much but I’m a smart girl who knows what “go potty” means and I’m potty & leash trained. As for the kennel/crate, foster mom doesn’t put me in that cave because I am an amazingly good girl who simply lays in her bedroom, she can even shut the door if she wants to because I feel safe in there. I am very slowly learning what it’s like to feel safe and loved. In fact, I have become comfortable enough with foster mom that I greet her in the morning by putting my head right next to hers while I patiently await lovingly gentle head scratches! Hint, hint! Welcome Jack to CCPAL Rescue. Jack is a 4-month-old German Shepherd Pup. He weighs about 35 pounds and he has some really wonky ears. They should be upright sometime soon. He bonds very deeply to his human and follows her around everywhere. He is good in his crate and good with other dogs. He is smart and wants to learn. He is still very clumsy and very much puppy, even though he is pretty big. His dad was around 100 pounds. Jack may be 75 pounds full grown is our best guess. He was found on the side of the road that someone was giving them away or going to take them to the pound. CCPAL took the girl and the boy puppy. Our guess a breeder or something. Jack goes potty outside. He will take a bath but doesn’t like the blowdryer much. He has a medium length coat with some waviness on the hair near his back and back legs. He is a big baby boy, even if he does look like he will have a fierce look. He would be great with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Someone that doesn’t work all day everyday is best for a puppy. He needs to finish his puppy training and he also will be best in a home with someone that knows GSD need physical and mental stimulation to be happy. She is very smart and learns quickly. She is more out going than her 2 litter mates. Loves to cuddle and get belly rubs. Very sweet little girl. Getting good at using pee pads. Sleeps in dog bed next to my bed. 12/8/25 Update: 1 Blue eye…I call her Blue. She always wants to cuddle up against your head…even at night. It is sooo sweet. Uses dog door on her own to go outside and poop. Uses pee pads in house. Love to play with my 2 yr old English Bulldog. She is smart, beautiful, playful and loves everyone. Hi, my name is Shiloh and I am from Alabama. He’s a sweet, playful, loving boy. He’s been doing a good job with potty training and letting me know when he needs to do outside. He sleeps in his kennel overnight but does like to get cuddles in.
