I was fostering him from a kill shelter. He is very sweet to me. He slept with me in my bed, follows me, etc. He play fights with my dogs. However, he hurt one of my cats badly and killed another. He would be best in a home alone, or maybe another dog. The vet he saw at the shelter said he didn’t do well with men, but he seems to be ok from what I’ve seen. No guarantees. Unknown about kids.

We post our available dogs in states across the East Coast and Canada to reach as many people as possible in hopes of finding perfect homes and families. We do not transport dogs — families must come to the rescue in Sebec, Maine to meet and, hopefully, take home their new best friend. Fortunately the kennel building was not affected by the fire, however, access to water and septic was lost making the kennels not useable. Many people stepped up to foster and a boarding and day care kennels in Bangor also reached out to offer to take some dogs and they took Cruz and his girl riends Clara Belle and Ryder Girl. They have been at the boarding kennels since the end of January and have been doing great, the staff love having them saying they are wonderful and sweet, they have met children and have been great around them, they are well mannered and ride great in the car. CRUZ is a sweet love bug, he has so much affection, he loves to wrestle and chase with his friends and then snuggle up or hang out when they need to recharge their batteries. He loves everyone he meets and would be very responsive to training. With an active family he would thrive. Dodger is a happy guy who had never left his backyard before coming to us. He is sweet and very stable, he just needs socializing and training. Malinois are active, intelligent dogs who need a leader and a job. If you live an active lifestyle and enjoy a dog with some drive and ambition, he will make an awesome companion. He is about 6 months old and will be about 50 pounds as an adult. All our dogs/pups are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They have been dewormed and are current on vaccinations. Our adoption fee includes 30 days of complimentary medical insurance for your new pet. Breed and size is frequently a guess and can not be guaranteed. Our dogs are fostered on a private residence, we do not have a free standing shelter. They live on a farm where they run and play with other dogs, cats, horses, and barnyard fowl.
