This energetic guy had a rough start to life (and almost didn't make it), but you’d never guess it from his confident strut and bright, curious eyes. Still triggered by some noises and fast movements, Jax has been working hard to overcome his anxieties. Jax is full of life, always ready for action, and looking for someone who can keep up with his adventurous spirit. Like many Malinois, Jax is smart, driven, and loves having a job to do. Whether it’s learning new tricks, going for long hikes, playing with toys, or working his brain with training games, Jax is happiest when he’s busy. He’s the kind of dog who wakes up each day asking, “What’s our mission today?” Because of his high energy and working-dog mindset, Jax will do best with an experienced owner who understands the needs of working breeds. He’s not looking for a couch-potato lifestyle (although he LOVES to cuddle at the end of the day)—he wants a teammate! Someone who enjoys training, staying active, and building a strong bond with their dog will find Jax to be an incredibly rewarding companion. She is friendly with people and other dogs. She is currently located in a kill shelter in Texas and will be euthanized to make space unless she is adopted before her timestamp is up.
