My name is Earl! You might have seen me earlier... my foster mom can't say enough wonderful things about my young handsome self. I am about 7 months old and 45 lbs. I am not bulky though - I am kind of tall and lanky. I am also a bit of a goofy guy; I am gentle and mellow yet I have the desire to play! I love other dogs - I love to play with them and romp and play tug. I live with a couple of adult dogs currently - I am submissive in nature with them but I try to play bow to get their attention - they are coming around. They can't resist my charm. I had a great time with the other dog my age while she was here too. I am not a dog that wants to push any buttons! I love to chew and enjoy my hooves, horns, bully sticks and I love all of my toys. That being said - I might chew something that I am not supposed to if you aren't watching me. I will learn though! What else do I love... oh - I love kids and people who give me pets and attention. I really love my people so I would be fine as an only too as long as I was able to play with my doggie friends sometimes. You can tell I have been missing a lot of human attention in my short life so I am soaking it up!! I am pretty much housebroken, GREAT in my crate and very affectionate. I need a little work on the leash though - I am still trying to figure out what that thing does! Even though I am only 7 months, I have an old soul character to me. Ash is 1 1/2 year-old Belgian Malinois mix who is learning her manners and what is expected of her while in her foster home. She sits nicely whenever the possibility of a treat comes around and also sits and waits for her meals to be served. She has even taught herself to go to the door when she has to go out. Don’t worry, if you’re not around to see it, she’ll give you a verbal warning. Ash is housebroken and kennel trained, although she prefers a treat or two when entering her kennel. Ash is super sweet and affectionate. She is quick to bond with her human and is a master cuddler and leaner. She is very curious and will want to follow you everywhere you go and watch everything you do. She is a bit of a nervous nelly when it comes to meeting new people and, in true Malinois fashion, she tends to be vocal about her fear. She needs a human who will be understanding and patient with her when it comes to introducing visitors and new friends. Dog introductions should be conducted slowly as well. Ash takes a few days to warm up to her new environment but once she does, her personality shines through. She can run all day in the yard with her furry foster siblings or crash just about anywhere when it’s time to wind down. She loves any and all kinds of toys and will throw them around all by herself. She is an awesome puppy that would bring heaps of love and energy to anyone willing to adopt her. After being rescued from a Texas shelter, NorthStar discovered that Ash has a severe congenital deformity that will lead to congestive heart failure. She will need to be monitored closely for any symptoms (exercise intolerance, coughing, shortness of breath). She is currently on medication for her condition and seeking the care of a cardiologist is recommended. Unfortunately, Ash's longevity will be affected and the doctors feel that she will most likely not reach the age of 5 years. When NorthStar rescued Ash, we never expected that she would have such a short life but we are determined to make what time she has left the best we can. Ash is looking for a very special adopter who will love this sweet girl and give her the care she needs for the rest of her life. Hi there, we are a group of 4 puppies, currently about 6 months old, and about 3 months ago we were sitting on someone's porch with a sign that said FREE PUPPYS! This was in San Antonio Texas on a very hot day and we were starving, dehydrated, and vomiting from either the heat or illness. Either way, a 4 Little Paws Rescue representative happened to drive by, pulled over, opened her door, and invited us in. We happily took her up on her offer, all jumped into the back seat, and we have been well taken care of ever since. Fast forward almost 2 months and we are all healthy, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and ready to be adopted. My name is Cosmo, I’m a boy, I currently weigh about 25.0 lbs, and I appear to be a Belgian Malinois. I am a sweet and friendly boy, happy and playful, and BONUS... I'm housebroken. I have been living in a foster home with a wonderful family, mom, dad, kids, and their resident dogs and I get along great with everyone. Sarge is our 2.5 year old Belgian Malinois Mix. Belgian Malinois is not recommended for the first-time dog owner. They are "a lot" of dog, which means they have a strong work ethic, are active, protective, and powerful. This is a dog that does not do well with boredom - Mals can become restless and frustrated when they don't have a job to do. This means that they aren't well suited to households where the owners work long hours or travel often. Excess energy, coupled with such boredom, could have them tearing your house apart. Individuals with a great deal of dog experience should only consider taking in a Mal if they have a significant amount of time and energy to dedicate to the task of training and exercising them. Hey, I'm Harley! I'm a big ball of energy! My friends at the shelter don't have any background information on me, I was found as a stray. I'm young and eager to learn! I would love to learn some new tricks! Even though I can be active, I do settle down when I'm tired. I love toys, going for walks, and being able to run around outside.
