Story
Hustle is a young adult, 40 lb Belgian Malinois mix with tons of energy and a big love for adventure. He's happiest running, hiking, or playing with other dogs, movement is his language. Left behind in boarding, Hustle is still learning to trust. He can be shy at first, but with patience and consistency, his loyal, affectionate side comes forward beautifully. He's fully vaccinated and ready for someone who understands active, working‑breed dogs and can offer structure, training, and reassurance. If you're looking for a devoted companion who will bond deeply, Hustle is ready to meet you. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet. Hustle is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.June 20, 2026, 2:37 am

Story
We adopted Rusty from the Dallas Animal Shelter in November when he was estimated to be 6 months old. Rusty is a very energetic and happy dog. He loves people and attention. He needs somewhere he can run and play. He does well with other dogs, small or big. He is easy to train if you’re consistent. He knows to sit, lay down, come, and be easy when receiving treats. He sits before eating and when getting his leash put on and off. We want Rusty to go to someone who can give him the attention and love he deserves. He is an amazing dog and so sweet.

Story
Sully is a wonderful, loving dog who truly deserves a home where he can get more time, attention, and space to thrive. He’s friendly, affectionate, and great at settling indoors once he’s had a little activity. Sully enjoys toys, outdoor time, and being near his people — he’s happiest just hanging out with you. He’s crate‑trained, well‑behaved, and has a calm, gentle nature. He doesn’t need a ton to tire out; a bit of exercise or playtime is enough for him to relax. In his current home, he’s used to playing with two other dogs who help burn his energy, so in a new home he’ll benefit from someone who can give him regular exercise or a yard to stretch his legs. Sully is a sweet, loyal boy who will make an amazing companion for someone who can give him the time, structure, and love he deserves. I’m committed to finding him a safe, stable, and caring home where he can truly thrive.

Story
Meet Malouk Malouk is a 12-year-old, 85 lb German Shepherd with a gentle soul, a loving heart, and so much quiet companionship to give. He came to us as an owner surrender after his person passed away. Over the following year, he wasn’t getting the care he needed, so he was surrendered to give him a chance at the safe, loving life he deserves. Now, he’s ready to find a home where he can truly be cared for and cherished. This sweet senior is blind, but don’t let that fool you — he navigates life with resilience and still enjoys the simple things he loves most: walks, naps, and treats (lots of treats!). Every now and then, he even gets a little playful spark. Malouk thrives in a calm, low-key home where he can feel safe and settled. He would be perfectly happy as an only pet, but he also does well with calm, respectful dogs and even cats who understand he spooks easily due to being blind. He is incredibly friendly with people and has a soft spot for kids, making him a wonderful, gentle presence in the right family. Because of his blindness, Malouk can experience some anxiety, but he does very well with calming medication and a consistent environment. He finds comfort in his crate and does best when crated while alone. He is potty trained, though he may mark indoors (he was only recently neutered), and belly bands have been a simple, effective solution. He will also need continued leash training, as he can pull — especially when he’s excited or unsure. Why you’ll love Malouk:• Gentle, loving senior companion• Friendly with people and great with kids• Enjoys walks, naps, and treats• Can live with calm dogs or cats (or be your one-and-only)• Crate trained and finds comfort in routine• Resilient and full of quiet love Malouk is looking for a peaceful home where he can feel safe, loved, and understood. In return, he’ll offer steady companionship, sweet moments, and a reminder that the best things in life are simple. Ready to meet Malouk? Apply to adopt here:https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/70992/generic Malouk is located in Texas but can be adopted locally or out of state.
