Some pets are in the Shelter and others in Foster homes. Please read the bio & email the address listed in the bio.   Additionally for CATS you  may email  JShelton@eulesstx.gov and for DOGS, email trinitygapclub@gmail.com       Meet Patton!    Patton is an 18-month-old Belgian Malinois who is extremely smart and well-trained. How this very handsome dog ended up in the shelter is a mystery to all who meet him.  He’s a quick learner and thrives in training.  He has gotten glowing reviews from our trainer who has been working with him since he came to the shelter two months ago.   This energetic and confident boy loves people of all ages and enjoys car rides, making him a great companion for active families or individuals. Patton has an alpha personality, so he’ll do best in a home with a submissive dog or as an only dog.  He’s potty and kennel trained.  He has mastered all basic commands , and we will provide a free “getting to know you session” with our trainer for his new family.   Patton will need a home with a secure yard and a wooden fence, as he loves to be active and explore. Because of his energy and big personality, he would be best suited to someone who is familiar with the breed.   If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent, and active companion, Patton could be the perfect fit for your home! Story
Meet Juniper! She is an approximately six-year-old, 70+ pound Belgian Malinois/Shepherd mix. We adopted her in 2019 from Dallas Animal Services and were immediately drawn to her goofy smile and personality. She is full of energy (doggy parkour anyone?!) but loves nothing more than cuddling up with the people she loves on the couch for a long day of snuggles. She has no history of health problems (though she has been known to fake an injury or two when she isn't getting enough attention), and she is up to date with all medical care (vaccines, microchipping, check-ups, etc.). Juniper is incredibly playful and energetic. Her favorite game is chasing tennis balls around the house, and she adores chewing up toys until they are completely demolished. She needs a big backyard that she can run and play in, and she can never resist chasing squirrels and barking at birds. Her biggest nemesis is the mailman and the UPS man. She has a strong bark and takes protecting her house very seriously. Juniper is good with children and other animals, however, we believe that she would flourish in a household where all of the extra attention could be focused on her. She does have destructive tendencies when left home alone and not given proper exercise or attention beforehand (pillows beware), but she has undergone significant training and knows her basic commands. She is also leash reactive which can make walks challenging. Juniper is housebroken, however, she is not crate-trained. She gets nervous in a crate and does better with being out of the crate when you leave the house. Currently, Juniper lives with one other (older dog) who can't keep up with her playfulness, which has caused increasing tension between the dogs. Additionally, with her human family expanding, she has gotten less attention over the past year and is no longer thriving in her home situation. She is being rehomed in the hopes that she finds a family with the time to give her all of the attention and love that she deserves. Juniper has the sweetest heart of any dog we have ever known, and combined with her goofy, energetic personality, she is a wonderful dog. We hope to find her a family who loves her for exactly who she is and cherishes and appreciates the silly qualities that make her so special. Story
Please meet Remington aka Remi!! We think he is a Malinois mix. We know this sweet boy is approximately 10 months old and has had all his vaccines, been neutered, microchipped, and tested Negative for heartworms! All that, PLUS he's handsome, fun-loving, good on-leash, knows "sit" and "down," good with other dogs of all sizes, and he's learned to be cat-cautious! 😊 He's sweet with humans, and is particularly fond of his foster father. Remi is still a pup and has lots to learn -- like no counter-surfing, no digging in your water bowl, and try respecting other people's space! 😊 But, he's catching on quickly, as is common with his breed! His housetraining is coming along nicely. He will learn all these things and anything else someone wants to teach him! He's young and eager to learn and please. If you are interested in adopting Remi, please complete the online adoption application you will find near his pics on our website: www.BaytownHumaneSociety.org Remi is a Keeper!!

Story
We got Daisy when she was just 4-5 months old from a rescue shelter, she is about 10 to 11 months old now. My wife has since gotten a full time job as a flight attendant and I was ordered to be onsite at my job full time now, which I am usually gone for 10 to 11 hours with commute time figured in. So no one is home a lot for her to spend time with. She is incredibly loving, and sweet, she is not a barker. Daisy will use potty pads, but she much rather prefers a doggy door and the outdoors. We brought Daisy around my friends cats and we have birds, she had no aggressive behaviors around them. Every single person she has met she has been over joyed to meet and play with. Daisy comes with toys, pads, a kennel, water and food dishes, treats, bones, wet and dry food. She is chipped and has all shots.
