I’m Baby Rocky Blue, and I’m one of the adorable pups from the Summer Litter of six! My mama is Skyler, a 1½-year-old, 30-pound Heinz 57 mix who is an absolute sweetheart (pic included). My siblings, my mama, and I were rescued by K-9 Lifesavers from a crowded shelter in Alabama, and we were lucky enough to land in an amazing foster home. I’ve had a blast growing up in a big puppy pile with my brothers and sister, but I think I’m ready for the next big adventure—a forever home of my very own!
I’m your typical happy puppy: sweet, friendly, playful, and great with other dogs. I’m also at the perfect age for training and socialization, so I’m ready to learn all about being the very best family member I can be. Of course, I’ll need a patient family willing to teach me all those important puppy things—and I promise to provide plenty of kisses and entertainment along the way! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
