Abby was found along with her sister abandoned in an apartment complex in SW Houston. She is 2 1/2 yrs old and weighs around 60lbs. She is a little shy first but then warms up quickly, she is house and crate trained but will need more positive reinforcement. She does get along with other dogs and walks well on a leash. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. She has a clean bill of health. The adoption fee includes her transport to your area and she is being fostered in Houston TX. Hi, I am Estrella! I am loving, playful, and very social. I enjoy playing with other dogs, going on walks, and running at the beach. I would love a home with other dogs or children, and a family that enjoys being active and spending time together. I would not do well alone, with older adults only, or with someone inactive. My early life was tough, but I recovered with care and now I am healthy, happy, and full of energy. As a young dog, I am ready for my forever family who will love me and include me in all their adventures.This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. As a U.S. nonprofit, Hope 4 La Pawz, handles all logistics and provides full behavioral and medical info in advance.

Some of the best things in life for me are taking a long walk with my people, playing with my dog friends, and of course eating. I think the best home for me would be with at least one more dog to play with, a yard with some bushes that I could hide in and run around. I like to be active, so if you were hikers or runners or beachcombers, I think I would be in heaven. I love car rides, especially if I can stick my head out the window. Romeo is a gorgeous, handsome dog who loves to walk, hike and be with his person or people. He would be a wonderful companion for someone who loves to hike! He's a great guard dog and can be protective with people he does not know, so would do best in a non-congested area where neighbors aren't a concern. Romeo also has a prey drive, so needs a strong owner. He has done great with other dogs in a home setting. He's incredibly smart, affectionate, and will attach to his person or people. His bond is very strong. He is not a big fan of kids. Romeo is easy to groom, is playful, and loves a good belly rub!
