He enjoys life outdoors and loves to play in the yard. Gramercy would be better suited for a family with no young children. He is good with other dogs once introduced. Gramercy walks well on a leash and follows verbal cues such as stay and down. He also loves riding in the car. He will make a great companion to a active and loving family. Meet May! She's mastered all basic obedience training thanks to classes with Swift K9 Training. She LOVES people and kids, but would do best in a home with children over 8. She does not mind cats at all and completely ignores them. She loves her crate--it's her safe space. She is great on leash and loves walks. May is about 4.5 years old and weighs 55 pounds. She would do best in a home as an only dog, and needs a quiet, calm environment willing to take things slow to help her adjust to home life. She has a lot of love to give to someone who can give her a chance.Her trainer from Swift K9 is happy to chat with anyone interested in adopting her, and will come to your home for a free acclimation session if you're local!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. To meet Jim Carrey, please submit an application at www.thehausofdogs.com/adopt . Jim Carrey (smaller dog in the pics) came to us from a shelter less about an hour outside of San Antonio, TX. His foster family describes him as a sweet boy who enjoys playing with their two dogs. He sleeps in his crate at night and has not had any potty accidents in the house or in his crate. He also does not whine/cry or bark when he is in his crate. While he does like playing with toys, he most enjoys playing with the foster parents' dogs! He does not go after small animals but definitely notices them on walks. He is shy, gentle and enjoys being in the company of other dogs. To meet Tim Curry, please submit an application at www.thehausofdogs.com/adopt . Tim Curry came to us from a shelter less than an hour outside of Austin, TX. His foster family describes him as a quiet, submissive boy who likes his squeaky toys and chew toys. Despite his young age he has not had any accidents in the house or in his crate and sleeps through the night in his crate. He is playful, affectionate, loves his belly rubs and likes hanging out in his crate. He does not go after bunnies, squirrels etc. and walks well on a leash given his age. He's also easy to direct and redirect, and looks to his handler for direction. He is not reactive towards people and other dogs and loves sitting by the window to observe the world go by.
