Story
4 years old | Cattle Dog mix | 30 lbs | Adventure buddy + couch companion Hi! I’m Debbie — a smart, friendly, and joyful girl who’s ready for adventures, cozy movie nights, and being someone’s very best friend. I’m curious about the world, love meeting people (kids included!), and bring a whole lot of heart into everything I do. When I first came into rescue, I had trouble walking due to an old injury. With time, love, and supportive care, I’ve made an amazing recovery and now walk, run, and play completely on my own. I may have a slightly wobbly gait at times, but it doesn’t slow me down one bit — I keep up just fine on daily walks and enjoy an active, happy life. The good news? I’m otherwise healthy, my condition is not progressive, and I don’t require any special equipment or ongoing medical care. I’ve proven just how resilient I am, and I’m excited for everything life still has to offer. I adore my people and would love to be the queen of my castle as your one and only pet. I get along with other dogs but really shine when I have my own space and all the love to myself. If you’re looking for a loyal, upbeat companion who’s overcome a lot and is ready to live fully, I’d love to meet you. I promise to bring joy, determination, and a whole lot of love into your life.     All Cooper’s Chance adoptable pets are spayed/neutered, UTD on shots, heartworm negative, de-wormed, micro chipped and housebroken. If you are interested in adopting this pet, please visit our website at cooperschance.org for additional information. We are a 501c3 non profit, your donations save lives and are 100% tax deductible.February 6, 2026, 4:04 pm

Crate trained: yes bed at 8p, up between 5-6a Doggy door trained: working on it (seems afraid of it and we have patio door open at all times so he has an easy alternative) Leash trained: no! Knows any tricks: up,sit, lay, shake, knuckles, tosses his own toys and chases them, knows out, in, enough Likes: food!, praise, everybody he sees, toys (especially squeaky), racing around in yard, swimming, chew treats, running/chasing all size dogs, playing in the hose water, digging up my garden, playing tug of war (especially group tug), being held like a baby, paws massages, tail rubs, baths Dislikes: time out for playing too rough Must haves: chew treats. He tends to gravitate to stealing shoes but doesn't bother them if he has another alternative. Apartment dog: could be if given exercise choice a couple times a day Fun facts: great swimmer, lives water, very smart, very independent, very loving, working on NOT jumping up on counter Ideal home: home with a big yard, definitely needs a playmate IS POTTY TRAINED! https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LCDR/Dog

Story
☕🐾 Hi, I’m Kiran — your favorite neighborhood barista in puppy form, now hiring a forever family. 🐾☕ I was born on 11/20/25, I’m a Heeler mix, and I bring warm, happy energy everywhere I go. Think friendly smiles, cozy vibes, and that comforting presence that makes your whole day better. 🤍🐶 With my snowy coat, brown ears, and bright blue eyes, I might catch your eye at the counter — but it’s my sweet, confident personality that keeps people coming back. ✨👀 I’m all about people. I love being included, handing out puppy kisses like free samples, and sticking close to my humans wherever the day takes us. 💋🐾 Training time, adventure time, nap time on the couch — I’m in for it all. Here’s my menu of good stuff: I’m weaned, wormed, and have had my first vaccine 💉 I’m expected to grow into a 50–60 lb medium-sized buddy 🐕 Friendly, loving, and very people-focused ☀️ I’ll be neutered before heading home 🏡 I’m ready to learn, grow, and settle into daily routines with a family who wants a loyal companion and a little extra joy in their lives. If you’re looking for a puppy who brings comfort, happiness, and endless tail wags, I might be your perfect daily pick-me-up. ☕🐾 Apply to adopt me, Kiran, and let’s make every day a little sweeter together. 💙🐶 https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LCDR/Dog

Story
Hi there, I'm Ruby—and I'm ready to love you forever. I’m about 2 years old, a mixed breed girl with a heart full of snuggles and a nose that’s always ready for kisses. Life hasn’t always been easy—I was found wandering the streets with my brother Rusty, scared and unsure of the world. But then we landed at Central Arizona Animal Rescue, and wow… they gave us love, safety, and belly rubs. Total game-changer. I’ve had a couple of homes since then. The first one was lovely, but there was a little dog there who just didn’t vibe with me. Same thing happened in the second home. So now I’m back at the rescue, hoping third time’s the charm. This time, I’m asking for a home with no little dogs, please. I get along great with people and big dogs—I just need a space where I can be my best self. &#226&#156&#168 Here’s what I bring to the table: I’m spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all my shots I walk like a pro on leash and I’m house trained I’m super smart and love learning new things I’m obsessed with squeaky toys, tasty treats, and cozy dog beds I’ve got a gorgeous reddish coat, white-tipped toes, a sweet red nose, and eyes that’ll melt your heart. I weigh around 40–50 pounds and while no one knows exactly what breeds are in my mix, I’ve heard whispers of Australian shepherd and red nose Staffordshire terrier. Honestly? I’m just Ruby. One of a kind. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and slightly goofy best friend, I’m your girl. I promise to make you laugh, keep you company, and love you with everything I’ve got. Come meet me at Central Arizona Animal Rescue. Just email mike@caaronline.org to set up a visit. I’ll be waiting—with tail wags and hopeful eyes. Love, Ruby   PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt.
