She’s a puppy and has puppy energy. Another must have — lots of toys. She can entertain herself for hours with toys. Apartment dog: She can be if she gets lots of outside exercise. Fun facts: She is the best traveler! She almost immediately goes into a deep sleep during car trips. Ideal home: A patient home with a family who understands she’s young and still getting used to this domestic world. Experience with herding breeds is a plus, along with a desire to train her. She could be in a home with or without a dog. Our older dog gives her confidence in certain situations, but she’s also very independent and self-entertains. Courtesy Post – Meet Diamond! 🐶 This beautiful baby needs a loving home! Diamond is a 65 pound collie mix. She is spayed as well as microchip and does very well in a kennel. She has not been indoors so unsure if she is housebroken or not. She does like to dig a bit and chew on things but we have given her enrichment toys to keep her attention and energy at bay when kenneled. She does very well on a leash and really loves water. she does well around other dogs but we have not seen her interact with any cats. She is a huge cuddle bug and does like to jump up to give ‘hugs’ and get head pats. We are working on her recall but for starters she does know the sit command! Very loving girl. Unfortunately, we do not have space to take them in, so we are hoping to find loving homes through this courtesy post. MEET RANGER!!! Ranger is a great dog once he trusts you. Slow and steady wins the race. He is aggressive at first, but he will warm up. He has to be muzzled and wear a shock collar to meet new people or go to the ver. Once he is acclimated, he will sit with you, ask for pets, and lay his head on your lap. He loves dog biscuits and animal crackers. He will steal human food if he sees an opportunity, so you should keep an eye on him. He seems to think he is always hungry. He must be fed in his crate or he will eat all the other pets' food as well. Ranger really wants all of the attention and is jealous when he has to share. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.We've had Goose since July of 2023. Since having him, and watching him grow and mature, we've come to the realization that he may be hard of hearing. Either that, or he just has really bad selective hearing. He doesn't seem to respond to his name when he is called on, or even whistled at. He does really well with all 5 of our personal dogs, our other foster dog, and even the small dog. He gets along with cats and kids of all ages. He is a pretty mellow dog, but on the other hand, will get the zoomies. He isn't a jumper, but a 6 foot fence or taller would be ideal. He is a very tall dog, but on the leaner side. He is treat motivated when it's treats that he likes. He will sit when you push his rear end down, and will give you his paw. He is crate trained, but will let you know when he wants out. He is used to eating in his crate as we feed all of our dogs in their crates. He loves to cuddle with my husband on the couch when it is time to settle in for the evening. He does get crated when we are going to be gone for an extended amount of time. He has been known to chew on things such as the couch cushion, or mail that we've had laying on the table. He is potty trained, but can have an accident due to human error and no fault of his own. He's a goofy guy and always has us laughing. He would do best in a home with or without other pets, but would recommend another dog to play with. An apartment would be ok, too. He is completely up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. Hi, my name is Poppy! I have a heart full of love, energy and a tail that never stops wagging. My foster family thinks I’m a Canaan/Heeler mix, and I’ll likely stay on the smaller side—under 50 lbs—when I’m all grown up. I’m spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all my vaccinations. I’m also crate trained, house trained, and walk nicely on a leash. I know my basic commands like “sit,” “stay,” and “down”—pretty impressive for a young pup, right? I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but I warm up quickly and will soon be your loyal little shadow. I’m currently being fostered with other dogs from 12 to 70 lbs, and I love to play with them! I might have a bit of Heeler in me because I have a silly habit of trying to “herd” my doggie friends when we’re racing around the yard. Like any growing puppy, I need plenty of exercise, toys, and walks to keep me happy and healthy. I’d probably do best with kiddos over 8 and might really enjoy having an older dog sibling to look up to. Once I’ve had my playtime, I’m all about the snuggles—I love being close to my humans and will happily curl up next to you for some chill time. Meet Yo-Yo.. aka Goat! He was 1 of the 8 dogs that was lucky enough to fly to the US from Costa Rica to get a new chance at life. He has been in foster care since May of 2023!  Yo-Yo is left with neurological issues per the Costa Rica sanctuary that he came from. You can see this when he walks. His name fits his personality perfectly! He acts like a goat nibbling on everything. He is a goof ball who's extremely loveable. He does great with all the dogs he is with in his foster home and his great with the  kids in the home. He loves to snuggle blankets and his peanut butter kongs! We suggest a home with kids older than 8 because he can at times resource guard his bones and food.  Yo-Yo has incontinence so he does wear a belly band in his foster home. He does not usually have an issue and maybe has 2-3 small spots a day if the band is off.  We believe him to be a cattle dog mix who deserves a very special home of his own!  His foster is in Tucson, AZ, but comes to the Phoenix/East Valley area often.
