Papa is an intelligent, happy, and easy to train one-year-old border collie mix pup. He enjoys long walks, fetch, dog park hangs, and swimming. Papa comes from a loving and caring home where he has been house-broken (he never has any accidents in the house!), kennel-trained, regularly socialized, and neutered. Unfortunately, the circumstances of my life have changed, and I have to find this good boy a new and loving home. Papa is a larger pup, weighing about 60lbs., that would best complement a couple or a family with an ample outdoor space who is active and familiar with dogs- because Papa is a "dog's dog!" - He is happy and very excited with kids. - Knows some commands like "sit," "paw," and "down." - LOVES TOYS! $150 adoption fee. We're blessed to have had Jaxx for 7 years, he just turned 8 in October. We would love to find him a home with a senior seeking a companion, a couple, a person with another dog, or a family. Jaxx is incredibly patient and kind. We have 2 young children and he has been nothing but sweet despite their playful curiosities that sometimes end in accidental tugs. Unfortunately my youngest daughter has an allergy we've tried everything for and we're unable to keep him, but we're optimistic he will find the perfect home with you. As I said, Jaxx is incredibly patient with kids, does great with other dogs at the dog park, and walks/jogs well on a leash (though not as fast as when he was a younger dog). He would love to snuggle in bed with you if you desire that, however, if that is not comfortable for you, he is also so happy on his own comfy bed. MEET  PICASSO & DA VINCI!! These two love bugs were found in a ditch in Eloy. They were dehydrated and so very hungry, but they were happily wagging their tail as soon as a rescuer approached and boosted them out of the ditch and happily hopped into their rescuer's car. These brothers are hilarious, they love to romp around and wrestle each other. Once they are all tuckered out, they snuggle up together.  These boys are sweet as honey, love affection and want so much love. Please understand they have all the typical puppy energy and behaviors. They have some basic training and are house trained and doggy door trained, but they will need a dedicated person to patiently teach them the ropes. If kept occupied, they are not destructive and choose toys over things to chew on. Picasso and Da Vinci need to be a part of a family--not yard dogs. They love soft beds and pillows, and they deserve them. Margie is SUCH a 55 lb happy and playful gal who loves people!!   She is always up for a good long walk, and is a great leash walker! Ellie came to us for training due to her stranger danger/feral behavior. We have worked hard on her new greeting behaviors, outlet for her energy and training. She is an active dog with great potential and she will reward her owners with a very dedicated life of love and a dog that loves to be active! (not a lot of parties, NO kids or grandkids, etc) I would love to see her in a home that likes to hike, play fetch, maybe do some competitive obedience. Meet Yo-Yo.. aka Goat! He was 1 of the 8 dogs that was lucky enough to fly to the US from Costa Rica to get a new chance at life. Yo-Yo is left with neurological issues per the Costa Rica sanctuary that he came from. You can see this when he walks. His name fits his personality perfectly! He acts like a goat nibbling on everything. He is a goof ball who's extremely loveable. He does great with all the dogs he is with in his foster home and his great with the  kids in the home. He loves to snuggle blankets and his peanut butter kongs! We suggest a home with kids older than 8 because he can at times resource guard his bones and food.  Yo-Yo has incontinence so he does wear a belly band in his foster home. He does not usually have an issue and maybe has 2-3 small spots a day if the band is off.  We believe him to be a cattle dog mix who deserves a very special home of his own!  If you are interested in Yo-Yo, please fill out an application.
