Autumn is a wonderful dog with a lovely heart. She is so affectionate and loving BUT she needs to be trained and we have found it difficult to keep a routine and consistency with our 4 year old son, who loves to do the exact opposite of what should be done when it comes to dog training. She loves children but tends to think she is one of them, and of course kids and dogs play differently. She is great with my 7 year old who understands boundaries, so I would suggest she end up in a home with kids 7+. She is a great walking partner, she loves playing fetch in the backyard, and she can even self-entertain. We love her very much but it seems we currently cannot provide the environment she needs to learn to be part of a family home. At the end of the day, she is a puppy and needs someone to devote the proper time and attention to her.

Blaze is young puppy and is one of mama Sophia’s pups. His DNA came back almost 100% Border Collie, and he is every bit the sweet, loving, playful puppy you’d expect. He loves romping around with his siblings and soaking up all the cuddles he can get. After a recent trip to the vet, we learned that Blaze may have a slight visual impairment. He’s not totally blind and navigates surprisingly well most people wouldn’t even notice! But we want to be proactive and set him up for success. His perfect home would include a friendly fur sibling (male or female) to help show him the ropes and be his little “seeing-eye buddy.” Blaze is a happy, resilient boy with so much love to give.
