Story
Courtesy post for rehoming. Patti or Patti Melt and Patti Cake asa her foster lights to call her is a loyal and affectionate beauty. Her favorite activities are catching the ball playing frisbee and snuggling up on the couch with her person. She is food motivated and will do almost anything for treats her stunningly, beautiful ice blue eyes are real showstopper. She is a petite girl at about 45 pounds. She is making progress on leash and is eager to please. She would make an excellent running partner or would simply love to be with her person wherever as long as she is by their side. Patti can be left alone, but needs to feel secure in the area that she is left. She does not like to be in a secluded small space. It takes her a while to warm up to new people so she will require some patience with that. She also enjoys playing with other dogs, but needs close monitoring as she doesn’t have all of the proper social skills yet. She would likely do well with another doggy sibling as long as intros are properly done. Her unwavering and fierce loyalty are her greatest attributes. Whoever adopts Patti will have constant affection and never feel lonely. If you’re interested in meeting Patti please contact her foster mom Anne via phone or text @ (925)699-0841

Story
Flitz is a very playful, affectionate dog who loves being around people. He enjoys attention, cuddling, and spending time with humans, and he also does well around other dogs and cats. He has a fun, loving personality and would do best with someone who wants a companion they can truly spend time with. Flitz is fully trained and knows his obedience commands. He walks well, understands structure, and is also e-collar trained. He has developed cataracts, which has caused him to become blind, but he has adjusted well and uses his nose, hearing, and awareness to navigate. His blindness does not take away from his happy personality or his ability to enjoy life. Due to moving restrictions, we are no longer able to keep him, and we want to make sure he goes to someone with good intentions who will give him the life he deserves. We are looking for a home that can keep him active, loved, and included, whether that means having a safe yard, regular walks, or a clear plan to give him exercise

Story
Dante is a STUNNING Border Collie/Shepherd mix. Need we say more? Yes, because being handsome isn't everything…so read on…(and check out his pictures below).Poor guy showed up as a 35-lb. stray, all skin and bones. He has since gained 30 lbs., developed confidence, and has shown a loyal heart. His name means `enduring and steadfast` in Italian, and it could not be more fitting. His prior life behind him, he is now eager and ready to work and learn at every training session and will sprint back to you the moment you call his name – RECALL IS HIS SUPERPOWER.Over several day trips with volunteers, he has gone from being under-socialized and nervous to an affectionate, engaging pup who clearly enjoys spending time with his people. He understands things quickly and gets more relaxed with each day trip. He loads into the car easily, rides well, and kicks things off with enthusiasm and plenty of kisses. He walks well on a leash, has gone swimming in questionable trail water, conquered sliding store doors and scary stores, and figured out that checking back in with his person is always the right move. He has shown himself to be dog-friendly and very playful. This beautiful boy will thrive with someone who will keep up his training, give him structure, consistency, and continued guidance, and maybe share an In-N-Out burger with him on road trips. In return, Dante will be a loyal, enduring, steadfast companion who will give you absolutely everything he's got. Schedule an appointment to meet Dante at yoloshelter.org/dogs or email adopt@yoloshelter.org . May 8, 2026, 3:23 am

Story
Layla is a beautiful mixed breed: 45% Husky, 47% Australian Cattle Dog, and 100% sweetheart. She weighs about 50 lbs and has the kindest eyes and the biggest heart. She’s full of energy, loves being around people, and absolutely lives for walks, fetch, adventures, and belly rubs. Layla knows basic commands like sit, lay down, stay, and leave it — and she really listens when there's a treat involved! She’s incredibly smart, loyal, and eager to please. With her energy and love for the outdoors, she’d be perfect for someone active, outdoorsy, and ready for a fun-loving companion. I’m hoping to find someone who will love her deeply and help her thrive. Ideally, I’d love to stay in touch or get occasional updates — maybe even visit if that’s ever possible (but not required). A small rehoming fee will apply, and I’d love to see where she’ll be living just to make sure it’s the right fit.
