Story
Hey everyone , I have a lovely short haired border collie puppy I need to rehome, the reason for rehoming is simply that she has outgrown my apartment far quicker than imagined and needs more room to run around. She is 5 months old, crate trained, completely vaxxed, fixed, and is microchipped. I think the best home for her is one with unconditional love, lots of time for playing, a backyard, and many walks! ❤️ I want her to have the best life possible and truly just think she needs more space; that I unfortunately cannot afford now. Please message me if interested or with questions :)

Story
Alex is adorable with a capital "A"! Alex is estimated to be 4 months old and is a bundle of fun, always eager to play. He brings the party wherever he goes and is definitely the instigator of wrestling time. He is looking for an active family who can keep up with his curious and adventurous personality. Alex currently weighs about 20lbs, and we guess that he will be around 60lbs when fully grown. Alex and his brother, Owen, came to us from a Central California animal shelter after they ended up on the euthanasia list due to a lack of space. They were the last two from their litter to be adopted, and we knew we couldn't let them down and we are so grateful to find a foster family for them. These boys are looking for individual homes with large dog-savvy families so they can get the one-on-one training they need. Alex is the more active and outgoing of the boys. He is also the one who wants to always be by your side. He is always ready for fun and brightens up every room with his big smile and goofy personality. When he's not romping around with his brother, he is always quite the cuddlebug and is happy to make himself comfy in your lap for some snuggle time. He is still learning all of his basic manners and needs a family dedicated to continuing his training. He hasn't had much experience out and about and will need some confidence boosting to help him thrive. Alex has done great with other dogs and loves to play with the small dog in his foster home. We think he would do best with another playful dog in his home to help mentor him, and so he always has someone to wrestle with. Alex has done well living with dog-savvy cats with a slow introduction and proper supervision. Alex could make a wonderful addition to a family with kids 10 years and older. Alex is still working on his housetraining, and his new family should be patient with him and be consistent about taking him out often. He has been doing well with his crate training and is comfortable sleeping in there at night and during the day for a few hours at a time. He has always been with his brother, so he will need some time to slowly acclimate to being alone. Alex is such a rockstar guy, and we know he is going to make a great addition to a family dedicated to helping him learn and grow. If you think that might be you, submit an adoption application today!   Alex's adoption fee is $350.   Apply to adopt here!  https://form.jotform.com/52017002013129/   Applications are also available on the website (www.yolospca.org)  It can take up to 3-5 business days to hear back once you have submitted an application. The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. Our adoption fees help us cover the cost of spay/neuter surgery, microchip and registration, and rabies vaccination (if over 4 months of age at intake or spay/neuter) for all animals. Dogs are tested for heartworm, started on preventatives, and given a DAPP vaccination. Adult dogs are up to date on their vaccinations prior to adoption. Puppies will be current on the vaccinations appropriate to their age. The adopter is responsible for additional vaccinations as necessary after the adoption. For more information about an animal, please email dogs@yolospca.org. Get ready to fall in love with Owen! Owen is estimated to be 4 months old and is a little charmer who is quick to win you over with his big brown eyes and gentle demeanor.  He is looking for an active family who can keep up with his curious and adventurous personality. Owen currently weighs about 20lbs, and we guess that he will be around 60lbs when fully grown. Owen and his brother, Alex, came to us from a Central California animal shelter after they ended up on the euthanasia list due to a lack of space. These boys are looking for individual homes with large dog-savvy families so they can get the one-on-one training they need. Owen is the more shy and independent of the boys. While his brother could spend all day racing around, Owen appreciates lots of sunbathing in between wrestling matches. He loves to get pets and will paw you for more attention if you stop. He is still learning all of his basic manners and needs a family dedicated to continuing his training. He hasn't had much experience out and about and will need some confidence boosting to help him thrive. Owen has done great with other dogs and loves to play with the small dog in his foster home. Story
🐶 Meet Tonya – A Loving, Loyal Companion Looking for a New Home Breed: Border Collie & Blue Heeler Mix Age: 4 years old Weight: 60 lbs Spayed: Yes Vaccinations: Up-to-date Health: Very healthy; takes a daily medication (Prion, 2 pills/day) to help manage urinary control 🌟 About Tonya: Tonya is a smart, affectionate, and playful rescue pup with a big heart and a curious spirit. I adopted her when she was just 4 months old, and she’s been my shadow ever since. She’s eager to please, highly trainable, and full of personality — she has her own ideas but listens well with someone she trusts. She does get a bit nervous when separated from her person, but once she settles in, she’s okay being alone for up to 9 hours. She loves making new human friends and is good with other dogs, cats, and kids — though she prefers to warm up at her own pace, especially with other dogs. You may hear her give a playful growl when she's feeling uncertain or inviting another dog to play — she’s never hurt an
