Sabrina is an amazing dog who just needs someone willing to work with her. She is amazing with children (just needs work on being too excited around small children She absolutely loves sniff walks and fetch to wear her out and work her brain. She will need a more involved owner who understands her needs. She’s got some unique quirks that make her even more special! She needs a very slow introduction to other dogs but has been able to play with and be around some other non dominant dogs. She does have Addison disease which is kept in control with a monthly injection. She would benefit from a forever home with someone who can keep up with that and give her a calm loving environment to spend her golden years. Curling up in your lap, giving gentle kisses, or gazing adoringly into your eyes — that’s my idea of a perfect day!I walk like a pro on the leash, I know “sit,” and I get along well with other dogs.When I arrived at HSFC, I was dealing with a very uncomfortable skin condition that caused me to lose most of my fur. But the team here showered me with all the love, encouragement, medicated baths, and care I needed to start healing. My fur is still growing back and my skin is a little sensitive, but I’m feeling so much better — and I’m ready to go home!And here’s the best part: I absolutely love wearing sweaters! They keep me warm, protect my sensitive spots, and make me look like the most dapper little gentleman you’ve ever seen.If you’re looking for a loving, cuddly companion who adores people and can’t wait to be by your side, I just might be your perfect match! Sierra is a beautiful 1-year-old Border Collie mix with a heart full of love and a spirit made for adventure. Found as a stray and cared for by a kind family before coming to us, she’s now ready to find her perfect match. This sweet and independent girl thrives on activity and exploration—she absolutely loves to run, play, and spend time outdoors. A securely fenced yard is a must for this curious explorer, and she’ll do best in a home that can provide regular exercise and mental stimulation. Sierra can be a bit shy at first, but once she knows you, her personality truly blossoms. She becomes affectionate, playful, and will gladly lean in for cuddles and attention. She’s especially happy around other dogs and enjoys canine playmates. However, she’d do best in a home without small children, as she can be startled by fast movements and loud noises. While not housetrained yet, Sierra is very smart and learns quickly—she already knows “sit,” “wait,” and “come.” Sierra isn’t a constant cuddle bug, but she loves to be near her people, and her loyal nature makes her a wonderful companion. Last year in August a dog shelter was doing an adoption event right outside my last job at tractor supply. Luna is 2 years old, very nice, great with other dogs, protective , smart but she has her moments lol, she is very active loves to play but when she is bored she likes to make a mess, she is scared of plastic bags and the retractable dog leashes, she is defensive of her food so I do not recommend her eating around other dogs and she is protective of her owner like anyone who is not family or friends who are around her a lot she is gonna give off warnings to. I am hoping to find her a safe and loving home with an owner who can love her and give her the attention she deserves. btw she is a border collie/cattled dog
