Lily is a super sweet girl 40# girl with lots of energy.  She is good with other dogs and people and looking for her furever home.  Due to some minor resource guarding, no children under 16.  Lily enjoys chasing a ball and will return for you reliably.   She knows sit, down, heel, place and give paw.  A super smart girl that needs an active and patient home to continue her training, she will get you out and moving !  ##1907387##

Story
Sabrina is an amazing dog who just needs someone willing to work with her. She is amazing with children (just needs work on being too excited around small children but has gotten much better with our fosters 2 year old)  She is most definitely mixed with a working breed - she needs consistent exercise to be a calm house dog and will become destructive if her mind isn’t stimulated. She absolutely loves sniff walks and fetch to wear her out and work her brain.  She will need a more involved owner who understands her needs. She has a lot of allergies and our vet believes her skin issues may just be a chronic life long struggle. She is taking 1/2 an apoquel a day and her foster supplements with calming treats and allergy/immune boost treats daily. We have not done an elimination diet to determine exact allergies, but she is currently eating Rachel Ray Limited Ingredient (Just 6 depending on bag design/store) Lamb flavor and has been doing better!  She still has bald spots and flare ups if the weather is bad or she gets stressed out. We’re working on determining when it happens to try and eliminate the flare ups so her hair can grow back fully. Currently all 4 shoulders have some degree of baldness and occasional bumps from her chewing, but I’ve been keeping sweaters on her and the calming treats to try and get her to leave the area alone long enough for the hair to grow back.  She’s got some unique quirks that make her even more special! She is  described as being cat like - she absolutely loves to be up high looking over everything. When outside, she can be found hopping onto the patio table to look in windows or take a nap. She’s also been caught napping on top of book shelves or any surface big enough to hold her body and she’ll curl up like she’s meant to be there!   She has no fear when it comes to humans, but can be skittish in the house when it comes to switching rooms or entering/exiting like she’s unsure what will come from the other room. She does alright with other dogs in neutral territory, but does resource guard her food, kennel, and occasionally the fosters sun room if she can see the other dogs filtering in and out while she’s hanging out in there. However, she responds incredibly well to correction and is eager to please! With or without treats, she loves to practice new skills and is working incredibly hard to be calm in the house! She still has trouble channeling her energy some days if she hasn’t had enough stimulation, but you can see how hard she tries to maintain composure during training sessions!  She’s a work in progress, but her personality and temperament are perfect for someone looking for a loyal dog that’s willing to do anything from cuddle on the couch to adventure with them!   https://www.pupandcatco.com/Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.We do not have a shelter facility and our pets are housed in foster homes, vet clinics and local boarding facilities. Story
Hello all potential adopters! I would like you to meet an extremely beautiful and very smart girl named Ziggie Zelda - a Border Collie mix. She is approximately 5 years old and weighs 35 pounds. Ziggie is the perfect medium sized dog for outdoor fun! Her fur is tri colored (mostly black and white with tan “accents”) and luxuriously soft.    Ziggie enjoys the company of other dogs and appears to be ok with cats too! When meeting new humans (adults and children), it takes her a little time to feel comfortable. It also should be mentioned that Ziggie does have anxiety, so exercise is important. A fenced in yard works out well for that purpose and for playing fetch! This lovely girl is fine being left alone for short periods of time, but will bark loudly for awhile initially. So, apartments/condos are not the best fit. Her foster mommy recommends that her new family is home most of the time.   Leash walking is not a problem for this gal. She walks very nicely on a leash. Ziggie is also crate trained. She is currently working hard on her potty training and is almost there.   If you think this amazing and intelligent girl would be a good fit for your family, please fill out an application and Ziggie’s foster mommy will get back to you asap! An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.          June 19, 2024, 2:11 pm

Story
Meet “Nella” - a brand new member of the RMG family. “Nella” is an Italian name meaning highly praiseworthy, luminous, radiant and TRULY this describes her perfectly. She was found tied to a dumpster behind a restaurant outside a few hours outside of Atlanta - there was even some talk around of her brother possibly having been shot - so people must have known more about her after animal control picked her up.   Lena or LenaBean as her foster parents fondly call her, is truly the most tender hearted, affectionate, sweet natured energizer bunny ever! In the house Lena is a couch potato and LOVES to be with her human and dog family. Outside, Lena turns into a lightening speed, chipmunk hunter and cross country triathlete. She runs top speed through the fenced in yard with her foster brother chasing squirrels and chipmunks and just showing off her general love for life. Lena is definitely a high energy dog that would need a family that has a completely fenced in yard and experience with breeds that are very intelligent and require a lot of exercise. Lena absolutely has an off switch, which is great, and she also has the eager to please nature so common with Border Collies. Her previous life before coming into RMG’s family has left her with some quirks which her new family should be aware of. She has a tremendous fear of loud noises and definitely needs some human support and comfort when lawn mowers, weed wackers and such are going. All in all, she is a very special girl that has the sweetest heart and deserves a family that will play with, love and protect her. Interested in adopting? Email adrienne@rescuemega.org or fill out an adoption application on our website- www.rmgdogs.org PLEASE NOTE: Previous first hand ownership experience with either purebred border collies or Australian Shepherds is a strict requirement to adopt Lena ##2046459##

Story
Butterscotch would be a perfect fit for a first-time adopter or a family, or someone who just wants an easy, social dog. She is friendly, and she's tested well with both kids and other dogs. She was surrendered by a veterinarian who was caring for her after she was left behind at the vet's office. The vet described Butterscotch as "friendly, shy, happy and a cuddlebug." She appears house trained or close to it.

Story
My two dogs had puppies before I could get them neutered / spayed so I was blessed with 9 puppies. I only have 3 left for adoption. Moo Moo (fluffy puppy), Panda (the one with one eye that’s black), and Eye patch (the one who has a little spot on one eye). If you’re looking to adopt more then one, you must get them neutered / spayed immediately so they don’t inbreed. It’s super dangerous for puppy’s to be inbreeds.
