Story
My two dogs had puppies before I could get them neutered / spayed so I was blessed with 9 puppies. I only have 3 left for adoption. Moo Moo (fluffy puppy), Panda (the one with one eye that’s black), and Eye patch (the one who has a little spot on one eye). If you’re looking to adopt more then one, you must get them neutered / spayed immediately so they don’t inbreed. It’s super dangerous for puppy’s to be inbreeds.

Story
This sweetest of fellows is now named Oreo, and it's still so hard to believe that he was mere moments away from losing his life at an overcrowded shelter before I took him in. Since then, I've grown to love him and his endearing personality more and more each day. Nothing would make me happier than to simply keep him, but then I wouldn't be able to save another pup in desperate need. Oreo loves every person he meets, and even more so if you let him weave between your legs. His favorite things to do are go for walks and explore, relax in a sunny patch of grass, play fetch, and snuggle up next to his people. He's not an overly-cuddly dog, but he is very affectionate and loves to give kisses and be next to you in the home. He's good with other dogs - and lives with 2 others currently - but must be introduced properly and preferably only live with females. He'd most likely be good with children, as he's never shown any resource guarding or human aggression. Oreo is mostly blind in his left eye (the reason it appears blue) which I can only assume occurred after an untreated injury earlier in his life, but this doesn't slow him down or effect him in the slightest (evaluated by vet)! Plays fetch very well! He hates being crated, but doesn't need to be when left alone. We're working on his leash manners. He's very eager to please and listens well. Oreo LOVES to explore and see the world, and if he gets out the door or away from you on leash, you'll have a tough time getting him back. I'll discuss strategies to prevent him escaping and ways to lure him back with all potential adopters. He is very scared of thunderstorms, but is not loud or destructive - just trembles excessively and tries to hide. Oreo will need a home with a fenced backyard and someone able and willing to take him for a walk daily. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2rC2sYHJ3E  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ioFfLCfIavI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fw2z6pjK1ZI Age:  7years  Weight:  65 lbs   Vetting: Up-to-date on vaccines, neutered, and heartworm negative   Temperament: Cautious meeting new people good with dogs and older respectful kids. Story
Marshall is a gorgeous fluffy white and black dog. He's friendly to all and has done fine with other dogs. He has an independent play style (live and let live.) He's a big dog at 73 lbs but still considers himself a lap dog. He's a good medium energy dog and playful. He loves chasing a ball and running around doing zoomies. Marshall would love to have a yard to run around in. Once he gets his energy out, he plops down and if a lap is available that's where he'll be. He's very sweet and gentle. He knows his sit command and he's calm, even-tempered , affectionate and treat motivated which makes him highly trainable. Marshall needs a home with people who understand he enjoys play time and cuddle time in equal measure. (He's a big believer in a balanced life style.) Marshall combines good looks and a loving personality all in one. He'll make a fantastic companion, a hiking, walking running , adventure buddy, followed by some cuddle time in your lap. What's not to love? Age: 3 years      Weight: 73 lb    Temperament: Good with dogs and  older sturdy kids as he needs to learn not to jump up,  Training: Knows commands:  sit.  Housetraining unknown currently in a shelter.   Vetting: neutered, up to date on vaccines, HW negative    For questions, please email:   nlherna@emory.edu  &#226&#128&#139  To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. Story
Hello! My name is Minnie Lucille McDogglestuff, or Lucy for short. I’m a Border Collie Sheltie Mix of awesome in a pint size 20 lb package. I am THE amazing co-piolot / passenger princess / ride or die you’ve been searching for. I LOVE to travel and I’m SO GOOD at it. I keep my opinions about your terrible driving to myself, don’t get carsick and barf, and I am an expert at hoovering up any left-over crumbs that fall out of your to-go order. Since staying with my foster mom, she’s taken me on road trips to South Carolina, Florida and south Georgia. I received 5 stars on my behaviors chart on all 3 trips. I’m an awesome TriPaw, and while I only have 3 legs, you would never know that I’m not a miniature greyhound sporting a fur coat. I can run FAST and I do everything my 4 legged compadres do. I’m 1 year old, which is 7 in dog years….in case you don’t know dog math. I’m looking for a home where I can be the center of your world, or at minimum a human that makes me believe I am. A dog friend to play with would be a super cool too…okay, pretty much a requirement along with ear scratches. I will also require a fresh organic carrot as my pre-bedtime snack each night. I will eat my low-cal carrot while watching and judging you as you finish off that entire bag of Cheetos just before swimsuit season. You’re probably wondering how I got here…. Last year I was either run over by a monster truck, an 18 wheeler or stepped on by an elephant. Anyway, my previous owner didn’t take me to the vet to get my leg fixed and the break was still broke and all the muscle atrophied. Then, I ended up at the shelter, because, duh, bad humans…. The shelter called up Releashed Rescue who took me in and paid a zillion dollars to the vet to got my leg fixed. Speaking of the zillion dollars, could each of you throw $5 RR’s way to help pay off my vet bill? I’m good with all dogs and cats, and just so you know, I totally hang with the big dogs. My most favorite fur friend ever is my foster brother who’s a 2 yr old 85 lb German Shephard. We play HARD and I believe playtime should be 24/7, however, I do know how to respect my dog elders and the cat and leave them alone. I’m crate trained, know sit and doing really great at this house training thing – I’ve been working really hard on my door bell training. I also prefer to hold the leash myself on walks and lounge in the cart while on shopping adventures. Did I mention that I love to travel? I’m also 20 lbs. Do you know what that means?!?! I can FLY IN THE CABIN WITH YOU! I’ll go get my roller board, you call the Uber, we will be in Key West by sunset! ------------------------------------------------------- TriPaw’s are just like any other dog and after a week or two you will forget they are missing a leg. The most important thing to remember is that you manage TriPaw’s weight and not let them get overweight. They will tire a bit easier than 4 leggers, but can do everything any other dog can do. After a hike of a mile or so, she may need to ride / rest for a bit in a doggie backpack carrier. If you have hardwood floors and stairs, she may need carpet treads (available on amazon) or socks with rubber grippers to help get up once she is much OLDER. Lucy has zero mobility issues now.

Story
Lily is a super sweet girl 40# girl with lots of energy.  She is good with other dogs and people and looking for her furever home.  Due to some minor resource guarding, no children under 16.  Lily enjoys chasing a ball and will return for you reliably.   She knows sit, down, heel, place and give paw.  A super smart girl that needs an active and patient home to continue her training, she will get you out and moving !  ##1907387##
