Bailey came to Rescue with her friend, Millie (a Border Collie) when their prior family could no longer care for them. For their safety, they were moved to a foster home. The new foster mom said she is a lovely girl, typical of her breed. She is a dog that loves to play and needs a job to feel happy and fulfilled. She's a medium size dog, about 40#. Bailey will enjoy an active lifestyle and be a great hiking or walking companion. She may even enjoy agility! Her adoption fee is $350 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption . We are trying to help this sweet girl called Bonnie Belle to find a home since her elderly parents are in failing health and cannot care for their five dogs. Bonnie Belle is a mix of some interesting breeds. We think she has some Aussie and maybe Boxer in her. The Australian Shepherd trait is what makes her a protector of the yard and home when strangers approach. She is the home security dog officer! This girl is losing her home because her elderly parents have fallen into bad health. Bonnie Belle is 4 years old and weighs a little over 40 pounds. She adores people and is good with the other dogs that she spends time with in the fenced yard. She is housebroken, affectionate and a devoted girl to her family. Lora Lee is a very sweet dog that is just 2 years old and weighs 38 pounds. She is said to be an Aussie mix with some Terrier. Whatever the mix is we think she is a most unusual and truly a beautiful girl who well with other dogs in her foster home. She is a friend to all and apparently she is house trained as long as taken out regular. Lola Lee is crate trained but cannot be left for long hours in the crate. She is not leash trained but is trying to improve. We are requesting that applicants have a fenced yard for her because she is an active girl that needs to run and play with freedom and not at the end of a leash only. This beauty loves to cuddle and be by your side like your BFF and shadow. If you have another dog that would be great for her to have a playmate that can help her wear out her energy every day. Lola Lee is a great girl and she is going to need an active family that can challenge and meet her need for exercise and be able to keep up with her. She is really not a dog for a retirement couple that are ready to have a more laidback dog with fewer exercise demands. Emmaleigh is a beautiful 6-month-old Australian Shepherd/border collie mix girl that weighs 28 lb and is looking for a family to love. This sweet girl and her sisters were seen being thrown out of a truck on a rural country road and cruelly abandoned. All three of the puppies went running after the truck and one was actually hit by a car but has recovered now. A very kind couple witnessed this cruelty in the making and quickly gathered up the puppies and took them home to their property where they could be fostered and vetted. Emmaleigh loves to run and play with her sisters and to enjoy the freedom of a place to run and people to love her. She is a tad shy at first but warms quickly when she realizes that you mean her no harm. All Emmaleigh wants to do in life is love someone and to be loved in return. She is joyful and happy as she runs around her foster yard. Her beautiful blue eyes will pierce your soul and heart and will beg you to accept her just the way she is. She will be a 40 to 45 lb adult beauty and we hope that someone discovers her special gift of love very soon. Meet Alice, our darling brown and white girl that has the most memorable face and sky high ears you have ever seen. This girl was born around the middle of May and is thought to be combination of lots of breed influences. For starters we think that Cattle Dog and Aussie might be a mixture that are dominant for her. She is one smart little girl that adorable her foster family and all the other big dogs (several German Shepherds are her mentors and big sisters) and many foster cats are present as well in the home. Her boundless happy puppy energy catapults her through the days as she grows in to a true beauty inside and out. She is so playful and loving and always ready for the next BIG ADVENTURE! She loves to chase toys and explore the backyard for new things to do and maybe a few squirrels to make friends with. She absorbs whatever you teach her like a sponge. Her foster mom is an excellent trainer and knows the importance of teaching manners and commands. Her friendly nature makes her easy to meet new people and she is does not shy away from new experiences either. She is a snuggler when she is tired and very loving as she sits beside you to watch a good TV show. This girl will be an excellent recall pup since she is learning that now and is so eager to please and be with her humans.
