This girl was found wondering around a business and was brought to us. She is friendly, happy but will be a good size dog when grown. She has not been in a house (that we know of), nor has been on a leash. She does okay in a crate and has no issues with other dogs. She is just a sweet girl who is now ready for a forever home. She is in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

Meet Kipper and Oatmeal. This brother and sister duo are precious. They are neutered/spayed, 7 yrs, and 44/30 lbs of Border Collie mix sweetness. Kip & Otay are great on leash, housetrained and eager to please. They love people, other dogs and have lived with cats This bonded pair will need a home where their people are around for the bulk of the day. We can't say enough about these two. They are the consummate huggers and will snuggle their way into your heart. The adoption fee for this pair is $500.00 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter. I can be unpredictable so I am looking for a family with no kids 15 and under. Look deep into my different colored eyes - then get me a ball! I LOVE to play fetch! The second I see a ball or hear you say the word, I'm ready to play. I know how to fetch and I'll bring the ball right back to you and drop it at your feet. I also love water and getting sprayed with a hose! I've been lucky to join doggy social here at FOHA and I have enjoyed playing with other dogs. I love going for walks as I get to know the volunteers and they get to know me. As much as I like new dogs I am not comfortable around a lot of new people. So I would not do well in a dog park or doggie daycare. I'll go ahead and say it, I'm extremely smart. I'm looking for an active family that will put my intelligence to good use. I would love to have a huge fenced in backyard to chase my ball until my heart is content. Apartments and condos will not be a good fit for me. Among all the activities, soccer is my absolute favorite, and I can't resist a thrilling match with my volunteer friends at FOHA. I've had a taste of home life before, where I shared the space with another dog. Things started off well, but I quickly realized that I might be at my best as the only four-legged companion in the house. If you're looking for an only-dog scenario, count me in! I'm a people-loving pup and have the boundless energy that's typical of a border collie mix. Bonus: I'm super soft to the touch, making cuddle time even better. If you're considering bringing me into your life, I have a special request. I'd thrive in a home with a very experienced owner who's up for working with me on a few behavioral challenges. If there are problems with the website, please email me for help. Jack is a male Shepherd mix, about 5 yrs old. He weighs 45#. He is a good dog... no aggression but also no training. He has been getting some leash training of which he's doing very well. This guy needs to have a companion to take him everywhere, go on hikes, and maybe even swimming. He loves people and is great with other dogs. He does need daily exercise but I’m sure he will calm down after he knows he’s in a forever home and gets his love and exercise every day.
