Story
Scooter is a farm dog and very Border Collie behavior. He does not fit our family due to having an autistic child in the home. He is very energetic and excitable but very friendly. He deserves a home with someone that can spend the time with him and include him in daily life. He is trainable, knows sit, shake, stay, and is treat motivated. He is goofy, silly, and very lovable. Once he's comfortable with his owner he is a good boy, it will take someone who can be the dominant person.

Story
Meet Sadie 🐾 Sadie is a beautiful 2-year-old Collie mix with a fun, active spirit and a sweet heart. Sadie really enjoys going for walks and getting outdoors and would love a family that camps or is looking for a walking and hiking buddy. She is fully housetrained and leash trained. Sadie knows basic commands and has had some formal training. Once it’s time to relax, you’ll find her happily chewing on her bones and squeaking her favorite toys. Sadie is a real cuddle bug and will happily snuggle on the couch with you! Sadie can be shy when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, she becomes a happy and loyal companion who enjoys being close. She seems to prefer adults and older children, since sudden movements and noises have been known to startle her. Sadie currently lives with multiple dogs in her foster home but would also be content being an only dog. Sadie is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives. Her foster home is located in St. Louis County. Her adoption fee is $325. You can apply for Sadie here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ITMD/Dog, and her foster family will be in touch with you!

Story
Mara is a very sweet, loving girl! She can be shy for a few minutes, and then she's begging you to hold her in your lap and give puppy kisses! She is also very playful with the other puppies and dogs in the house and loves to wrestle and zoomie around with them. She also loves to spend as much time as you let her hanging outside, even in the chillier weather. She's going to grow up to be large as she is a great pyrenees/ boarder Collie mix.    She's crate trained and sleeps throughout the night in her kennel. She is doing great with potty training and will go outside in cold weather and rain to go potty.    She's also respectful of the cats in the house.   If interested, please  complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Story
Meet Whitman  At just 10 weeks old, this fluffy Border Collie / Great Pyrenees mix is already mastering the art of melting hearts on sight. With his cloud-soft coat, soulful eyes, and gentle curiosity about the world, Whitman is the kind of puppy who makes every ordinary moment feel a little more special. Whitman is still very much a baby, which means he’s soaking up everything around him like a tiny, four-pawed sponge. He’s learning the basics of puppy life, exploring new sights and sounds, and figuring out how fun toys, treats, and humans can be. With the intelligence of a Border Collie and the calm, steady nature often seen in Great Pyrenees, he’s expected to grow into a loyal, devoted companion who loves both playtime and peaceful lounging near his people.   Like all young pups, Whitman will need a family ready to guide him through training, socialization, and all the important “growing up” milestones. Consistency, patience, and lots of love will help him blossom into the wonderful dog he’s meant to be. He’ll likely grow into a larger dog, so he’d do best with adopters prepared for big cuddles, big loyalty, and a big presence in their lives.   If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, and seriously snuggly best friend to grow up alongside your family, Whitman is ready to start his next chapter with you. Come meet Whitman and see just how quickly he makes himself at home in your heart.    If interested, please  complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Story
Eldridge is a great pyrenees border Collie mix who embodies the best of both worlds! He's a bigger guy, weighing about 15lbs at 9 weeks old, so he will probably be a large dog when fully grown. He is crate trained and sleeps through the night in his kennel. He is doing great with potty training. He loves this colder weather and will go potty in cold weather, rain, or snow! He loves to spend time outdoors hanging out and sniffing around the yard. He's very calm and sweet with the humans in his life. He will beg for cuddles and will take naps in your lap. But, he gets some serious zoomies with the other dogs in the home and loves to wrestle with them. He's also respectful of the cats in the home.   If interested, please  complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Story
This boy is so so sweet but he needs owners with way more energy than my parents can provide. He is good with kids but he likes to run and chase after them play wise but it can sometimes scare the kids and I dont think he realizes that hes a lot bigger lol. He needs someone with training and time for him to release his energy. They have an older aussie as well who he wants to play and rough house with but the older one is 12 and does not want to play. He just need a home with people who will have time for him. He loves to cuddle and be brushed just poor guy is bored and we do not want him to miss out on so much!
