Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Jack is a handsome 75 pound, 3 year-old pointer/border collie mix coming to us through our owner surrender program. He is a very good boy who gets a little too exuberant around his baby human brother and for that reason needs a new home with older children.  Jack is playful and loves to chew on his squeaky toys, kongs, and bones. He also loves his leash walks although he can pull a bit and can use some training in that department. Jack is crate trained but is also well behaved when left alone outside of the crate.  He is good in the car and for baths.  He does not chase outside cats or other animals.  Jack is a cuddler with his humans and is happiest when they are all together. He loves belly rubs! He does get excited and jumpy when visitors come over but will settle down quickly. Jack could happily live with another playful dog or alone with an active family. He is here in NJ and ready to find his new family.  Jack is up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm. He has been neutered and has a microchip. His adoption donation is $450 .  - Adopting an animal is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these animals have been through they deserve a loving, committed home. How to Adopt Me! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Spooky! This sweet girl is settling into life in NJ and slowly learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. Spooky is a beautiful 2-year-old Border Collie–Terrier mix who was found wandering the streets before making her way into rescue. Since arriving in foster care, she has been adjusting little by little to her new environment and gaining confidence each day. She absolutely loves her crate and sees it as her comforting safe space. Spooky enjoys going for walks, sniffing around, exploring outside, and chasing squirrels in the yard. She’s a very quiet girl — her foster family hasn’t even heard her bark yet! Spooky does well with other dogs and cats and would likely benefit from a patient home that understands she can be a little timid at first, especially around men. Once she feels safe, her gentle and sweet personality shines through. If you’re looking for a calm, sensitive companion with a loving heart, Spooky may be the perfect fit for your family. Spooky is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Her adoption donation will be $450. - Adopting an animal is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. Story
Meet this goofy girl Gordy! She is about 6 to 8 months old and is about 25 to 45 lbs. She is a mix of what we believe is a border collie/bull terrier mix. She was dropped in the middle of a field and left there to starve to death. She was so scared of people and did not trust us at first. She was never wanting to bite, but was for sure scared of people. We got her more comfy with being around everyone, but will need a slow introduction. She is good with other dogs and kids, but with chase a cat when it runs, not to get it, but just to play. She is working on those manners. She is a great girl and deserves all the love she can get.

Story
Willow was rescued from a reservation out in Utah, she is believed to be around 4 years old. She is a very sweet and loving girl, she is very loyal and listen really well! Willow is crate trained, house trained, and knows all the basics. She loves cats! Willow also LOVES watching TV! Willow is very energetic and loves to spend time outside but also loves to cuddle. We believe she is a border collie mix breed. Willow doesn’t get along well with other female dogs, but has never had an issue with male dogs. She would be best in a home without female dogs and with someone who has plenty of time for walks! We are heartbroken to have to rehome her, however we have another female dog and they are not getting along. Please reach out with any questions or for more pictures of Willow!

Story
🤍 SAVED FROM THE STREETS OF ALBANIA — NOW LUMI NEEDS A HERO 🤍 Approx. 5 years old • 45 lbs • Dog friendly • Kid friendly • Arriving soon Lumi was found completely alone in the mountains of South Albania… skinny, wandering near a river, and simply trying to survive. No family. No safety. No one looking for her. 💔 A traveler spotted her and couldn’t walk away. She named her Lumi — meaning “river” in Albanian — after the place where this sweet girl’s second chance began. Despite everything she’s been through, Lumi has remained nothing but gentle, loving, and unbelievably kind. She has the softest soul — calm, intelligent, and so eager to trust. She rides beautifully in the car, loves children, enjoys other dogs, and has a quiet sweetness that makes everyone fall in love. 🐾 Fully vetted & spayed 🐾 Dog friendly 🐾 Kid friendly 🐾 Medium energy 🐾 Gentle, calm, and incredibly smart 🐾 Ready for a forever family when she arrives Right now, Lumi sleeps in boarding, safe but still waiting. After surviving life alone in the mountains, what she deserves most is a family to finally call her own — a soft bed, loving hands, and the security she’s never truly had. She survived the streets of Albania. Please help us make sure her story finally gets the happy ending she deserves. 🤍 Urgent HERO needed for Lumi when she arrives. 6/6 ✈️🐾 PLEASE TEXT KAREN TO GIVE THIS SWEETHEART A SAFE LANDING HER IN THE US 🙏🏻 4136298152
