Meet Ace! This handsome boy is looking for a fitting forever home to match his energetic, enthusiastic, and boisterous personality. Ace is originally from a family farm in South Jersey, born in May 2024 of a Chesapeake Bay Retriever mother and Border Collie father. As the family on the farm was not able to take on any more animals at the time of his puppyhood, he found his way to our current residence in NJ. Ace has some special medical notes- he has a bald spot on his back from running under an electric fence as a puppy, and has experienced 2 seizure-like episodes in the past. Because of this Ace needs a confident, loving, and VERY experienced handler that uses positive reinforcement. He would be best being pampered as an only child, as he has a tough time getting along with other dogs or cats. Although he can be slow to warm to new people at times, he is truly a sweet and fun spirited boy who would love nothing more than to be your best friend with time and patience. 🐾

Meet this goofy girl Gordy! She is about 6 to 8 months old and is about 25 to 45 lbs. She is a mix of what we believe is a border collie/bull terrier mix. She was dropped in the middle of a field and left there to starve to death. She was so scared of people and did not trust us at first. She was never wanting to bite, but was for sure scared of people. We got her more comfy with being around everyone, but will need a slow introduction. She is good with other dogs and kids, but with chase a cat when it runs, not to get it, but just to play. She is working on those manners. She is a great girl and deserves all the love she can get.

**Located in Korea** Finishing heartworm treatment. Rescued from the local shelter in South Korea the same day he was scheduled to be euthanized. He is estimated to be up to 2 years old and looks like a Border Collie and Jindomix. He is not very interested in playing with other dogs and is more interested in exploring and going for walks. He doesn't have separation anxiety, but when he's with people, he's always hovering over them or asking to be petted. However, it's better to give him time to adjust to the new dog, with a reasonable distance, rather than showing affection. He has a demanding bark and doesn't like to be chased by other dogs, is not picky about food and barks at strangers. Recommended to be adopted by a family with no children and a regular routine lifestyle.ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs. He was rescued from Animal Control and is ready to bring love, energy, and adventure to a home. With his sleek black-and-white coat and towering, athletic frame, Smokey is impossible to miss. But his beauty is matched by his amazing personality: friendly, affectionate, and playful. He loves people and is fantastic with kids, always ready to give love and gentle companionship. Smokey absolutely loves playing with other dogs —he’s social, energetic, and always up for a fun romp. Cats aren’t really his thing, so a cat-free home is best. This tall, active boy would thrive in a home with lots of activity—running, walking, swimming, hiking, or even camping —because after spending far too long in a kennel, he’s eager to explore the world and enjoy every adventure with his family.
