Meet Paisley! Paisley is a 2 year old, 35 pound Australian Shepherd who was rescued from a puppy mill. She was super shy and introverted when she first arrived, but with the help of her foster sister, she has come out of her shell and is now a super playful pup! Her playfulness is coupled with a super affectionate personality. She just can't get enough love and will sit and receive scratches and pets for hours! Paisley also gives the very best hugs ever. Paisley would make an excellent addition to a home with other dogs or an active adult who loves to walk and hike or throw a ball in the yard. She is house trained and looking for a family of her own to paly with! Paisley is currently being fostered in Staten Island. Her adoption fee is $600. Paisley is a Patron Pup. Patron Pups have higher adoption fees due to varying reasons and are adopted quickly, even with these higher adoption fees. They may be purebred, a highly desirable breed, small in size fully grown, etc. These fees allow them to act as patrons to other pets in our care who may not be as adoptable, or have ongoing costs for medical care, contributing to a longer time in rescue, and therefore a higher cost for us to care for them. Patron Pups allow us to continue rescuing these other animals and give them a better chance at finding their forever homes as well. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
