Story
Meet Honey Crisp! This 1-1/2-old pup is incredibly sweet and affectionate, always brimming with boundless energy. Honey's energy level is too much for the older dog in her current house, she would thrive in a home that had lots of room to run a play. She enjoys playing with other dogs. Honey has been good with other dogs she has met. When it's time to settle in she does like her own space and has on occasion yelled at other dogs to get out of her space. She has lived with older and younger kids. Honey loves to cuddle up on that couch but also knows off and is (mostly) good about not getting in the bed (unless you want her to!) I am helping my sister rehome Honey. My sister is extremely sad to lose her companion but wants to do what is best for her dogs.

ALL our cats and dogs are in the NY area but can be adopted out of state to the purrfect furever home.  In some cases, we can help transport.  Zani's al fresco Summer Adoptions  follow us on FB to find us this summer as we will try new locations to meet the needs of NYC and support the little stores:)     4m old Lucas was found on a lonely road starving with his 5 siblings & their Mom in Puerto Rico Next to a hardware store!  He will be here March 2nd All dogs are located in NY/NJ area All our puppies need puppy play dates/doggy facetime so we recommend homes with other pups or daily interactions to keep them tired out, happy and social.     Facebook: Zani's Furry Friends ZFF (weekly adoption event info posted there) Twitter: zanisff  Instagram: zanisfurryfriends   Dogs are spayed/neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, Rabies vaxed, and microchipped (not Lyme vaxed but we seriously recommend it!)  All are in the NY/NJ area but we will adopt out of state to the purrfect home and in some cases, we can arrange transport.  Please go to our site  https://zanisfurryfriends.org  fill out an application  Many of us (cats/dogs) will be on display on Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent--please ask by writing us at dogs@zanisfurryfriends.org and following us on FB. If you are seriously interested in adopting one of us in particular, please fill out an application early Friday so that we can be sure to be there. Otherwise we decide based on other variables. Usually we are in our foster homes so this is a bit more stressful and a slightly artificial environment but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes too.   Please consider providing a home for more than one dog, especially if you are considering adopting a puppy. Dogs are pack animals and very much enjoy as well as need other dog company to learn to play, socialize and be good companion animals to people. The upside to this is that you won't feel as guilty leaving them alone and you get twice the love. Please come! And if you can't adopt, maybe you can foster or volunteer, and you can always donate! If you want to know about cats/dogs specifically being shown at our adoption locations, please email us info@zanisfurryfriends.org closer to the date so we know your interest and will make every effort to have that pet at the event or let you know how and where you can meet.  It is extemely helpful and speeds up adoption if the application is filled out prior to visiting us so please do that before coming to our weekend events. Our weekend locations are: Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent  Follow us on FB, Zani's Furry Friends ZFF, for latest updates. Usually we are in our foster homes so all this is a bit more stressful but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes. Please come! Story
FERRIS is a fun, playful 2 year old Border/Heeler looking for an active human to enjoy life together. This boy is an athletic guy who would be a perfect hiking partner with his great recall and love of adventures. Ferris loves to be outside, running, playing chase, keep away and then hang out for movie time inside. He enjoys getting in the water and playing in the pool. Ferris is a sweet, loving guy who wants to be included in his human's life and, of course, get belly rubs. He is both housetrained & crate trained. He's good with all active female dogs who want to play, but dominant male dogs would not be a good fit. He'd be happy with a playful female dog in the home or also as an only dog with an active human. Ferris is an intelligent guy who has learned basic commands 'sit, crate, come inside' and would love to learn more if taught. He's a very food motivated boy. He listens well to his human, looks to them for direction and wants to please.  Ferris rides well in the car. He sleeps through the night in his crate, but he'd be happy on a dog bed in your room. He also walks well on leash. Ferris can be left home alone for several hours, because he does not have any separation anxiety. He's happy to entertain himself in the yard while you work on the computer. He's not a big barker, but will 'talk' to the squirrels and can be vocal in initiating play.  Ferris is best with children over 10, due to his energy level. He has not been cat tested, so we will not be adopting him to a home with cats. Only homes with a fenced yard where he will not be left alone for long hours will be considered.  Ferris is 55 lbs. neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, including rabies, heartworm negative and is current on prevention.    If you are interested in adopting Ferris, please email mkpeinado@yahoo.com. His adoption fee is $300 and transport fee is $250. NOTE: This pet is being shared by NorthStar Pet Rescue on behalf of another organization or individual and is not a NorthStar Pet Rescue dog. NorthStar cannot guarantee the accuracy of this listing, and any applications and inquiries about this pet made will be sent to the originator.   February 26, 2024, 10:03 pm

Story
www.TheLastResortRescue.com PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING THIS PET THE FIRST STEP IS TO FILL OUT OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION AVAILABLE AT THELASTRESORTRESCUE.COM. If you have a question or inquiry please email us at tlrapplications@gmail.com   Fiona, our beautiful Fiona, found herself being dumped at the kill shelter by her previous owner while she was IN ACTIVE LABOR with puppies. Just a year old herself at the time, she was just terrified and starting having puppies on the shelter floor. We needed to act quickly! Fast Fiona had 8 pups, 7 survived. Fiona was the BEST momma to all those giant puppies, even though she was just a baby herself. She has raised all her pups and has been in foster, decompressing from her previous life! She is such an amazing dog! She bonds quickly and deeply to her person, she's a Velcro dog, she just wants to be where you are. She likes other dogs, but doesn't necessarily require another dog. She is good with people, kids, other animals. However she was one of those ' kids having kids' so she still very puppy like herself.  She is housebroken and very well behaved!  She is Very attached to her foster family, and she is a deeply emotional dog. She is one in a million! We are looking for that one in a million human that will truly bond with her and be hers forever!  If you think that person is you, fill out the application today! We would love to speak to you and arrange a meet and greet with Fiona! She deserved to find her true ' Happily Ever After ' February 28, 2024, 12:22 am
