www.TheLastResortRescue.com PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING THIS PET THE FIRST STEP IS TO FILL OUT OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION AVAILABLE AT THELASTRESORTRESCUE.COM. If you have a question or inquiry please email us at tlrapplications@gmail.com   Fiona, our beautiful Fiona, found herself being dumped at the kill shelter by her previous owner while she was IN ACTIVE LABOR with puppies. Just a year old herself at the time, she was just terrified and starting having puppies on the shelter floor. We needed to act quickly! Fast Fiona had 8 pups, 7 survived. Fiona was the BEST momma to all those giant puppies, even though she was just a baby herself. She has raised all her pups and has been in foster, decompressing from her previous life! She is such an amazing dog! She bonds quickly and deeply to her person, she's a Velcro dog, she just wants to be where you are. She likes other dogs, but doesn't necessarily require another dog. She is good with people, kids, other animals. However she was one of those ' kids having kids' so she still very puppy like herself.  She is housebroken and very well behaved!  She is Very attached to her foster family, and she is a deeply emotional dog. She is one in a million! We are looking for that one in a million human that will truly bond with her and be hers forever!  If you think that person is you, fill out the application today! We would love to speak to you and arrange a meet and greet with Fiona! She deserved to find her true ' Happily Ever After ' March 16, 2024, 12:13 am

Story
Friendly Finn is a lucky dog.  You know one of those who was in a really bad shelter that was run by lazy people who didn’t care if any of the dogs got out alive.  He is a handsome and very friendly Border Collie/Pointer mix that is truly a good looking dog who is about 3 years old, fully vetted, 35 pounds and was at the shelter for 2 years.  TRUTH!   How awful that this beautiful soul was there in that dirty place and in the tiny kennel run with another dog. He wasn’t fed much and he is lucky to have survived the torture of that specific shelter.   Friendly is a good word for Finn since he is good with other dogs and kids unknown.  He is surprisingly very good on a leash, but his nerves can get the best of him when riding in a car.  He might need a little medication till he gets used to riding.  Finn needs a big yard or maybe daily trips to a dog park.  We want him to live a life that is not limited as he has experienced these past 2+ years in the shelter.  If you are interested in Fostering or Adopting Finn please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 28, 2024, 12:37 pm

Story
Our handsome border collie mix boy puppy is called Gordy and he is a truly rescued pup that deserves a really great home with another dog or better yet…his sister named Prancy.  This boy is 8-9 months old and weighs 23.5 pounds and is a one of a kind Heeler.  He is very sweet and easy going and not hyper at all.  As most Heelers are expected to be very active and over the top energy, Gordy is not like that at all. We don’t know a thing about his former life as a young puppy but some lady took him and his sister from a livestock auction after they were abandoned at the event.  He is so good with other dogs, cats, young children too!  He is living with 3 children that are all under the age of 13 years.  He has great manners and is learning leash skills, and house manners.  Smart and very sensitive is what we say is very much his nature.  He is ready for that brand new home and the chance to be one of the best dog companions in your lifetime.   If you are interested please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  He is ready for a forever and ever fresh start to his life. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 28, 2024, 12:37 pm

Story
Our beautiful Border Collie/Blue Heeler girl is 9 months old and is called Prancy.  This little 21 pound girl is truly a rescued pup that deserves a really great home with another dog or better yet…her brother named Gordy.  At just 9 months of age, we think a projected adult weight might be around 25-28 pounds for her when fully grown. Prancy is such an old soul in this young, beautiful body.  Both she and her brother are on the more calm side of puppyhood and they both have matured into mannerly, thoughtful, loving and easy going souls.  Prancy is very sweet and easy going and not hyper at all. Smart and very sensitive is what we see in his nature and temperament.  A good natured and wonderful young pup. She is ready for that brand new home and the chance to be one of the best dog companions in your lifetime.   If you are interested please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  He is ready for a forever and ever fresh start to his life.
