Story
Who doesn't love puppy breath? Meet Cali, an adorable and sweet 10-week-old puppy in search of a family to love and to live her best life with! Cali is a playful pup but laid-back, too. A Good Samaritan has her temporarily but it's not the ideal foster home situation. So we would like to find her a great home soon so her new family can enjoy all things puppy as she continues to grow. At her first vet appointment she weighed 13 lbs. and the vet thought she may be mixed with Border Collie. As part of her adoption fee, she will continue to receive her puppy vaccines, and be spayed and microchipped. She is also on Heartworm prevention. Cali's adoption fee is $375.00 If you feel that you would like to add Cali to your family, please submit an application by going to our website foreverhomek9rescue.org for an application and email the completed application to us at foreverhomek9rescue@yahoo.com. You can also submit an application by going to: https://foreverhomek9rescue.org/adoption-application/ (cut and paste). Forever Home Canine Rescue offers a three-week trial period with all of our adoptions, just to be sure that the pet is a good match for the adopting family. The fee is refunded if the adoption does not work out within the trial period. We want to be sure that each of our pets will have the perfect "forever" home! Forever Home Canine Rescue adopts out-of-state, but we never ship or transport our pets. An approved adopter must come to North Carolina to meet their new canine companion and then take him/her back home with them.

Story
Lily is a sweet and snugly dog. Adopted from the streets of Texas she is a 7 year old mix breed that loves attention and snuggles. She takes a little while to warm up to other dogs and would be ok with older children but with three young children she is out numbered. Hoping to find a home for this sweet girl for someone looking for a companion. She truly is a sweet dog and just needs more TLC than we can provide. She has had seizures in the passed (appear anxiety induced) but has not had one for over two years. Seriously just a sweetheart

Story
Dash is a sweet 1 1/2 year old boy rescued from a shelter. He is a cuddle bug that loves to receive and give affection. He is house trained and knows basic commands like sit, down, and leave. We would love to keep him, however he does not get along well with our other dog. He would do best in a home without other dogs. We are unsure of how he would do with small children. Dash tested heartworm positive and is currently on medication. He will need additional veterinary care for this very treatable condition. He is has a huge heart and is wonderful with humans, he just needs the right pet-free loving home where he can thrive and give LOTS of cuddles. Please contact if interested!

Story
Lupin, 3 years old, is a very loving and loyal dog. He is full of life and energy. We are looking to rehome him with someone who has a bigger space for him to run around and play. He also needs someone who has time and who is able to play with and train. He is very intelligent. Will not begin eating unless he hears "eat". You can try to trick him by saying "east" or "ear" but you won't fool him. He is loved and unfortunately we are no longer heathy enough to give him the home he needs.
