Story
Ellie is 4 years old, 85 lbs Have you ever lost a beloved dog and felt that no other could take their place—until one day, a soulful set of eyes reminded you that your heart still has room to love again? Ellie could be that dog. This gorgeous, resilient girl found herself abandoned and heartbroken at the pound after her people gave up on her through no fault of her own. Despite everything, Ellie hasn’t lost her spark—she’s still hopeful, playful, and overflowing with love to give. Ellie is a smart, spirited pup who’s always ready for an adventure or a cozy night in. She’s working on house, crate, and leash training—she may be a little out of practice, but she’s catching on quickly. She loves water, thrives on attention, and is happiest when she’s by your side. Ellie’s looking for a fresh start with someone who will never give up on her. Could that someone be you? Give this sweet girl the second chance she deserves—you might just find she fills a space in your heart you didn’t know was still empty.

Story
Winnie is an almost 2 year old border collie and Australian shepherd mix weighing ~30 lbs. She currently lives in a home with another dog, cat, and a 5 year old child - all of which she has done wonderful with. She has gone through professional training and is very smart, active and aims to please. She’s great to walk, loves to play with her flirt pole and tug toys, and play with her animal and human siblings! Winnie would do best with an active person, couple or family who likes to be outside and can spend time with her “working” and playing into her natural instincts. She has never once shown signs of aggression towards another animal, adult or child. Winnie does have some anxiety specifically in the car. She needs someone who can be calm to help her work through this. Although she has a lot of energy, she does have an “off button”. She can be very sweet and cuddly and hop right in your lap. Our family is unexpectedly growing, and we have make the difficult decision to rehome her.

Story
Contact the foster at, ALEXIS.KEATY@YAHOO.COMZuko is a fantastic dog with a lot of love to share. He loves to run and play and just be with his people. He wants to be friends with every person he meets - and he will let them know, enthusiastically! He is very smart and eager to please his people but can be a little stubborn. He seems to be hard of hearing and responds best to visual cues.Zuko’s favorite activities include: • Pretty much all activities, all toys, preferably with his human there. • Helping his human complete tasks. He loves to supervise while you handyman. • Parkouring on his leash if something looks exciting. • Playing tug-of-war, fetch, not giving the ball back, treasure hunting, working through an entire toy basket. • Booty scritches! More about Zuko: • Does not understand dog play etiquette and needs long/slow introductions to new dogs (more for the human’s comfort) and he would thrive best co-existing with an enthusiastic female dog with few boundaries. • Strong boy but walks well in a low stimuli environment. Needs to continue to work on focusing on his human. • Loves people - older kids included! • Medium energy and very manageable • Might be the best car rider ever • Crate trained and house broken • Did I mention he loves toys? Ideally the kinds that stand up to tough chewers• Lived with a cat - needs very slow proper intros to cats• Hardly ever barks• Crate trained• House trained• Not destructive in the home
