Story
Meet Kage, the ultimate good boy who's just so darn cute! This gentleman is a pro at house living, fully potty trained, and a master at walking on a leash and harness. He's a social butterfly, getting along famously with other dogs and loving those backyard playdates with his pals. Kage is a stunning mix of Lab and Border Collie, the perfect blend of intelligence and family-friendliness. He's just the right size, like a mini Lab or a slightly larger Border Collie. When you find two fantastic things that go together like peanut butter and jelly, you celebrate! Kage is that winning combo, and now you can celebrate by making him a cherished member of your family. His temperament is pure gold - sweet as honey with everyone he meets. Now, here's the scoop: Kage is a special needs pup, and he's looking for someone who can be with him about 90 percent of the time. Storms, rain, and loud noises send him into severe panic attacks, and he's been known to chew through walls when anxiety strikes. Crates aren't his jam because of past storm-related trauma. He's also dealing with seizures, so he's on medication for that. Kage would thrive in a local adoption, and he's best as a single dog with no cats or small animals around. He's a wonderful companion for older kids, and he loves nothing more than cuddles and long walks. He's got the whole house training thing down too. His foster mom adores him and has prepared him for his forever family as best she can. Now, the ball is in your court. Remember, when you adopt Kage, you're not just bringing home a good boy; you're giving him the loving, understanding home he deserves. Don't shop, adopt, because Kage's life depends on it! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Lilo Layla may be a complex name for a simply happy puppy but it helps describe who I am :) i AM a happy/hoppy puppy, my foster mom says i have very high energy- which interprets as..... I need kids and other dogs to wear me out :) See?? Not so hard to interpret!! I am also called: sweet, stubborn, and finally ALL PUPPY!!! That likely doesn't need an explanation :D We believe I am part Heeler and Border Collie. I have serious puppy teeth so older kids better for my puppy teeth :) I am afraid of Cats, even though I want to chase other small animals, I got RESPECT for the kitties! I am crate trained, learning to walk on a harness and leash. She goes from 0 to 100- ALL PUPPY!!! So there you have it! I am the total package! 1) PUPPY, 2) very CUTE, 3) SMART, 4) GOOD WITH EVERYONE (except squirrrels, lol) and AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
I’m a bouncy, fun, silly and adorable young pup. Sometimes I can start out shy, but it doesn’t take long for me to feel comfortable and be pals. My friends at POOCH are hard at work setting me up for success in my future home. I am learning my basic cues, and some great life skills, like leash walking and what is appropriate to chew on. (Did you know hands are friends, not toys?!) I enjoy playing with other dogs and self-regulate well. I love to run around after my dog and human friends, I enjoy playing with stuffed toys, and I really love a good snuggle. We did a DNA test and Marco is a true mix! He's Pitbull, Border Collie, Australian Shepherd, Boxer, and many more! Learn more about Marco and fill out an application today at pooch.org/marco

Story
I’m just a little guy, here to enjoy life! My brother and I were found in a ditch and brought to Marion County Dog Shelter. POOCH brought us in and I LOVE learning from my handlers. I’m a bit lower energy than my brother, but don’t let that fool you, I am still very much a puppy! I enjoy playing with my brother and other pups, including James and Malik. I can get a little over excited when I see cats, so this is something my handlers are working on with me. I’m sweet and cuddly and I really love humans. Are you looking for our new best friend? Perhaps it’s me! We did a DNA test and Polo is a true mix! He's border collie, pittie, boxer, aussie, and many more! Learn more about Polo and put in an application today at pooch.org/polo

Story
She's a good and happy dog and has the potential to be the right persons best friend. My nephew started college and now lives with me. He no longer has the time for her needs. She also has to be chained up all the time because she doesn't get along with my dogs. It's not a happy life for her, and she deserves better. To whomever adopts her, I hope it's ok for my nephew to get text updates every once in a while. Her name is Egg, and she loves butt pat's.
