Story
Youngmin was rescued from the streets of Paju, Korea in 2018. Though he was adopted once, he was unfortunately surrendered due to personal reasons. Since then he has been living with other dogs at a private boarding house. Youngmin is a sweet and affectionate dog who adores people and loves to follow his humans around. He enjoys snuggles and getting attention, and he's also great with other dogs, playing happily and energetically. However, he struggles with separation anxiety, becoming very anxious when left alone. We believe that Youngmin's ideal adopter would be someone who is retired or works from home, or someone who has a family member at home most of the time. Youngmin thrives when surrounded by people and feels most at ease in a calm environment. Therefore, a house in a peaceful neighborhood would be an excellent fit for him. Youngmin would make a wonderful companion for the right person or family. He is an affectionate and playful boy who will bring joy and love to any home. If you're interested in giving this precious boy a forever home, please consider adopting him today. The adoption fee for Youngmin is $ 560 CAD/$ 560 USD. -------------------- Youngmin is a 5.5yr old male BorderCollie mix. Neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Story
Hello, World. Meet Zhanna! -ADVENTURE PARTNER -OUTDOOR SUPERSTAR Zhanna is currently about 4 months old and we think she may be a Lab mix but with rescue it is always a bit of a mystery! From her foster: "She is a true herding dog and thrives with a family. She gets bored easily and will find something to do - So she'll keep you busy! She is so smart - good and bad. You gotta keep her busy too lol. She is protective and has a strong personality" Zhanna is playful and SUPER sweet. She absolutely THRIVES on affection and cuddling is her language of choice. She loves to play with other dogs and her toys and then cuddle up for a nap. Zhanna is still pretty young so she will need a patient family that is ready for training, socialization and all of the hard stuff that comes with owning a young puppy. However, she will make up for it with a bunch of kisses! Her new family will have to work with him on potty training, crate training, and basic commands. As she gets older we anticipate she will be a higher energy dog and will likely require physical and mental exercise daily. She will be perfect to take on long walks around the neighborhood! Zhanna is still at the age where she can be easily socialized to coexist with children, dogs & cats! Don't miss out on this amazing girl! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby, you also receive many other additional perks such as a 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.), a free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus incredibly low pricing for future sessions, 50% off of your first BarkBox order, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our FB Adopter group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Oreo Cookie is a total FLIRT! Yes, once you meet him you will fall in love with him. It happens to everyone he meets! That’s why we pulled him from the shelter when he was on the euth list because he won our hearts over too! Oreo Cookie is definitely the perfect guy if you are looking for a dog that you can take out in public. I took him to a local festival that was super busy and full of crowds and he loves getting attention from all of the kids and adults! So whether you want a dog to take to a brewery, camping or just to a park he would love to tag along. Oreo likes other dogs too! He engages in the full on let’s tackle and roll around play with other dogs. But he would totally be happy as the only dog in the home too! Oreo passed his cat test! I think he really was just not sure what kind of creature the cat was. Lol! Oreo is great with kids and would do well in a home with them. Oreo Cookie is a one of a kind and would love to go to a home where he can just be with a person(s) who loves him! Don’t miss out on this amazing pup! Apply today! Adoption Application Questions? Story
Latara, Kneesa, and Malani are not ewoks but they are just as cute! They are super fun and spunky and friendly and will remain medium sized as an adult. They appear to be border collie mixes based on their current looks and size. They are absolutely beautiful and will make great family pets or adventure buddies. They were rescued from a rural shelter in Oklahoma were they were slated to be euthanized due to space. They are still in Oklahoma but can only be adopted in WA state or Oregon. They have to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport in either Tacoma, Tukwila, or Portland. Be sure to watch the video as well to see how fun they are. Story
Sabo is 3 years old he is a very smart energetic dog. He loves play fetch and always bring the ball right back. Sabo knows sit, paw, place , speak, free and spin. We bought Sabo from a family friend couple years back. He grew up with my 5 &. 6 year old boys and he has always been nice and gentle with them. We have another male dog but just recently he started attacking him and growling it’s been a very week thing and we just aren’t sure why. Sabo is reactive and he did have some training a year ago and he is a lot better than before especially going on walks still takes a lot when other dogs walk by but he’s okay seeing other people kids or cars. Unfortunately Sabo not getting along with our other dog has caused a lot of stress for us since there is no way to keep them apart. Sabo would benefit from a family with do other pets & someone who is experienced with blue healers or knows a little about their personality. Also someone who is able to put time and money in training.
