Story
Meet Kage, the ultimate good boy who's just so darn cute! This gentleman is a pro at house living, fully potty trained, and a master at walking on a leash and harness. He's a social butterfly, getting along famously with other dogs and loving those backyard playdates with his pals. Kage is a stunning mix of Lab and Border Collie, the perfect blend of intelligence and family-friendliness. He's just the right size, like a mini Lab or a slightly larger Border Collie. When you find two fantastic things that go together like peanut butter and jelly, you celebrate! Kage is that winning combo, and now you can celebrate by making him a cherished member of your family. His temperament is pure gold - sweet as honey with everyone he meets. Now, here's the scoop: Kage is a special needs pup, and he's looking for someone who can be with him about 90 percent of the time. Storms, rain, and loud noises send him into severe panic attacks, and he's been known to chew through walls when anxiety strikes. Crates aren't his jam because of past storm-related trauma. He's also dealing with seizures, so he's on medication for that. Kage would thrive in a local adoption, and he's best as a single dog with no cats or small animals around. He's a wonderful companion for older kids, and he loves nothing more than cuddles and long walks. He's got the whole house training thing down too. His foster mom adores him and has prepared him for his forever family as best she can. Now, the ball is in your court. Remember, when you adopt Kage, you're not just bringing home a good boy; you're giving him the loving, understanding home he deserves. Don't shop, adopt, because Kage's life depends on it! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

So, have you ever written a novel??? Or maybe just a paper for your Bachelor's degree?? Well then ACE is something you would completely understand, right?? LOL, who wants to remember the most horrible trauma you have had as a college student?? A-Answer, C-Cite, E-Explain.... so now you know, my name may represent some kind of forgettable nightmares from English Lit... but you can now exchange that nightmare with LOVE and PUPPY FUN!!! Ace is my name, I am a sweet boy, maybe border collie/lab mix who has a way with words :) Barking that is!!! No I am not a serial barker, I am kind of a quiet guy, whose love you will see in my eyes, not in your ears :D I am such a good boy, I never want to end up on the streets like I was found, and this is where you come into the picture! I am ready for adoption! I am ready for you! I am ready to live my forever life with my forever family :) ADOPT.... DON'T SHOP!!! MY LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!! Looking for a sour kiss and a cute pup? Look no further! I'm Limoncello aka Lemu Emu, and here's my story! I was born to a mama dog who got sick and couldn't feed all her pups :( I am the only survivor and I am a tough boy! I am a smart and naughty boy, I love other dogs and pups and I love to cuddle (when I am tired of playing:) I'm a Border Collie/Lab Retriever mix and have a lot of energy you canoften find me playing rough with my puppy buds, other dogs, and people. I am growing like a weed and probably will be 60 lbs plus full grown, so must love big SMART puppies to adopt me. I am waiting for you! Story
Semper is an older puppy that was rescued out of Beavercreek, Oregon. He was part of an accidental litter and his owner's reached out to us for help. The litter had been living in a chicken coop since June on some rural property. We jumped in to help the situation and rescue Semper and his litter mates. - Date of birth: 1/26/24 - Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog/Husky mix - Semper is 35 pounds at 7 months old and likely will top out at about 40-ish pounds but we cannot guarantee size at maturity. - He is a snuggly, affectionate sponge of a puppy who just wants love and to be included in a family. He has lived outside most of his life. - Hasn't had any potty accidents in foster so far and is kept on a potty schedule and goes potty right away when you take him outside and ask him to go. - Loves toys! - Walks on leash but everything is new to him on walks so he hesitates and just wants to look at things. He will benefit from gradual exposure and confidence building. He doesn't pull on leash and generally walks loose leash by your side. He does get spooked by sudden noises or movements while out on walks but this is getting better. - Sleeps in a kennel run at night and does well with that. We are gradually working on crate training. - Very food motivated and eager to learn! Fostered with a dog trainer and is getting excellent one on one skill building and obedience training. - Fostered with other dogs and does well - We have not seen him with cats but may be able to bring him to your home and cat test him with your cat. - We have not seen him with kids but he is very sweet so we think he would be fine with kids ages 7+ Semper is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention and we will cover his neuter surgery at our SW Portland veterinary clinic partner September 19th. His adopter would need to get him to that appointment after adoption. His adoption fee also includes a free wellness exam at on of our partner veterinary clinics in Portland, Tualatin, Oregon City or Milwaukie. $150 adoption fee Fostered in Vancouver, Washington Apply to adopt Semper on our website: www.agavedogs.org

That is where he's most happy. - Fostered with other dogs and is playful and loves having a buddy - We have not seen him with cats but his littermate is fostered with a cat and does well. We think with a thoughtful and structured introduction, RC could do ok with a cat also. - We have not seen him with kids but he is very sweet so we think he would be fine with kids ages 7+ RC is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention and we will cover his neuter surgery at our SW Portland veterinary clinic partner September 19th. Wu Tang is an older puppy that was rescued out of Beavercreek, Oregon. He was part of an accidental litter and his owner's reached out to us for help. The litter had been living in a chicken coop since June on some rural property. We jumped in to help the situation and rescue Andretti and his litter mates. - Date of birth: 1/26/24 - Guessing Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog/Husky mix - This boy is wiggles, smiles and cuddles! Although shy initially, he loves to cuddle, give kisses and be close to people once he warms up within a few minutes. - Wu Tang is 33 pounds at 7 months old and likely will top out at about 38-ish pounds but we cannot guarantee size at maturity. - He is a snuggly, affectionate sponge of a puppy who just wants love and to be included in a family. He has lived outside most of his life but is adapting well to the comforts of living indoors. - Hasn't had any potty accidents in foster so far and is kept on a potty schedule - Learning to walk on leash, but pauses a lot to look at new things and is flighty. We are working with him to build his confidence on walks. Having another dog along really helps! - Doesn't love the crate but does settle in it and is growing more comfortable in there. He doesn't break out or get super distressed and destroy blankets. - Fostered with other dogs and enjoys having a furry friend to follow the lead of and play with. Wu Tang is more on the submissive side. - Fostered with a cat and does well - We have not seen him with kids but he is very sweet so we think he would be fine with kids ages 7+ Wu Tang is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention and we will cover his neuter surgery at our SW Portland veterinary clinic partner September 16th.
