Story
Richy is a handsome little gentleman who we rescued after he and a group of small dogs were dumped in an orchard. All the dogs were trapped and brought to our partner rescue's facility and then we offered to bring Richy up to help him find a loving home. - Approximately 1-2 year old and 27 pounds but could stand to lose a pound or two - We took our best guess at Border Collie/Chihuahua mix. Richy is a terrific size! He's a petite boy. - Lower/medium energy level. Richy would likely appreciate a calmer home. He can be somewhat timid but is very sweet and wants love. - Always wagging his tail - Has been good with other dogs. Richy was rescued with 7 other dogs and one of the male dogs really picked on him. Richy would take it and go belly up. He has quite a few scars on his head from the other dog unfortunately. We would love to find Richy a home with another nice female dog in his future home. - Walks on leash nicely - Goes in the crate willingly and seems comfortable in there - Holds his potty readily when crated - Tested well with the cat in his foster home. He was polite and gave the cat space. Richy is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner veterinary clinics in Oregon City, Portland, Milwaukie or Tualatin. $400 adoption fee Fostered in Oregon City, Oregon APPLY TO ADOPT RICHY ON OUR WEBSITE: WWW.AGAVEDOGS.ORG

This lad loves people, children, dogs that are gentle with him and want to play with him. He is a very happy, outgoing and energetic lad that loves to play with toys, crate trained and leash trained. Loves hanging with his people where ever you at. Likes car rides. He will do best in a home with another dog his size and energy level where someone is home, has children and a securely fenced yard. Hello neighbors- Helping rehome Sam, an adorable 1.25yo Border Collie/Black Lab mix (~70lb). His family loves him dearly, but between multiple jobs, college, & raising small kids, life is too busy. He deserves a home that can give him the attention, love, & training they currently can't. No judgment please; they are heartbroken but trying to do the right thing! SAM’S PROFILE: • Personality: Extremely smart, athletic, loves to work and fetch. Needs 1-2 hrs of vigorous exercise daily (runs, hikes, agility). • Social: Friendly with people/kids.
