Things got ruff real quick — animal control picked us up, the shelter was full, and we were scheduled to be euthanized the same day. Luckily my rescuers showed up and gave us a second chance at life! Even though I don’t have those flashy movie-star blue eyes like some of my siblings, I’ve got the best personality in the bunch. Meet Raj! Raj is 4 years old and came to us as an owner surrender when his previous owners were moving and couldn't take him along with them. He is a very sweet, high energy pup who loves to play fetch with his people. He loves his time outside and thoroughly enjoys sniffing all the smells and getting fresh air. He would benefit from an active family who will play with him and continue his positive reinforcement training. He could live with children 6 years or older who will respect his boundaries and even be comfortable playing with him. AT this time Raj has not been dog tested or cat tested. Raj is a part of our New Leash Prison Program, which means he is currently residing off campus at the Allegheny County Jail as a part of their program (TAILS) where they enjoy enrichment activities, positive reinforcement, and force-free training.
