I answer to them all! 🐶 I'm healthy, spayed, heartworm negative, vaccinated and a 38–42 pound bundle of love with a big personality, an adorable face, and one very important hobby: EATING! 😂 If snacks are involved, count me in! That's how I earned my nickname, Baby Hippo. A girl's gotta eat! I love other dogs, tiny humans (kids are some of my favorite people!), walks, cuddles, couch potato time, and keeping an eye out for squirrels. I'm also perfectly happy sharing my home with cats, even the ones who decide to run around. Here's something important about me: I'm still building my confidence, so having another friendly dog in my forever home is a MUST. Having a canine buddy helps me feel safe and confident as I continue learning about the world. This beautiful girl is Lucy. She is 3 years old and everything you expect a Border Collie to be. She is highly intelligent and focused. She has a super sweet temperament and loves people. Playing tug and with her jolly ball are 2 of her favorite things to do. She loves to give kisses and be petted so much that she tries to climb in your lap. Lucy knows sit, down and stay on command. She is crate trained and rides well. She is housetrained except for some occasional submissive wetting when attaching her leash. When she came to us, she was afraid to walk on a leash. She is now doing better with it but still can be a little fearful of it at first. She is UTD on all vaccines, HW negative and on preventative, and has been spayed. Lucy will need a home where she is the only dog and without cats. She has a very strong herd drive and focus so even though she has not been tested around children more than getting pet by them while on walks, small children would probably not be a good fit for her. Lucy will be great for someone who is looking for a dog that is highly driven with lots of energy. She is no couch potato. This girl needs a job. Please apply to adopt at bcrrt.com.

I’ve spent the last few months in a loving foster home recovering from knee surgery, and now I’m healthy, happy, and ready to begin the chapter I’ve been waiting for. Tokyo is truly an amazing dog and such an easy girl to have in the home. She is fully house trained, kennel trained, leash trained, and off-leash trained, and she knows all of her basic commands. She is wonderful for grooming and has excellent manners inside the house, she isn't destructive and is very respectful of her surroundings. She is incredibly smart and, more than anything, just wants to play fetch and relax by you.
