PROS: Friendly and social – Enjoys being around people and other animals. Affectionate – Loves cuddles, pets, and spending time with humans. Good with kids – Gentle and patient around children. Good with other dogs – Gets along well with other pets. Calm temperament – Relaxed, not overly anxious or hyper. Well-behaved indoors – Doesn’t chew furniture or cause damage. House-trained – Knows to go potty outside Basic obedience – Knows commands like sit, stay, come, or down. Smart and trainable Good traveler – Rides calmly in the car. CONS: I am to believe that he is a high anxiety dog especially when nobody is home. He marks inside the house only when nobody is home with him and when we keep him outside for the duration that we’re gone, he still finds a way to hop over the fence. We’ve tried numerous of things to keep him contained in the back yard but he still keeps finding ways to escape. Like previously stated, he’s house trained but ONLY marks when left alone inside.

I'm Chess and I'm here to tell you that there is no sweeter pup than me. I'm about 20 pounds, one year old and super cute. I like toys, nylabones and playing with other dogs. At first I had no idea what a leash or harness was but after some practice, I'm excited now to go for walks every morning. I make a great little office assistant if you work from home and I sleep quietly through the night. I learned the doggie door pretty quickly and that helped a lot with my house training. She is a lovely girl and full of energy, well trained for the most part. Happy, healthy, spayed, FUN, and BEAUTIFUL, this pup is magnificent! She loves to swim, play with toys, and do tricks for treats! She is fostered in a home with cats and doesn't seem bothered by them. Sometimes she wants to play (which is not allowed, cat's preference) but is not aggressive with them. Miss Dottie's a gem of a pup with a sweet and calm demeanor. She is young, healthy and affectionate. If you sit or lie down, she's right there beside you. If you take a walk she eagerly follows and checks-in with a touch of her head or nose to your hand. She's happy to laze on the couch or run in the backyard. Enjoys car rides and playing with her doggy housemate. Would be good with a companion dog or by herself. Cohabitates well with the cat in the house. Loves meeting new people. Estimated to be less than a year old, she's all gangly limbs and cute awkwardness. Major wiggle butt when excited. House and crate trained. Meet Izzy bizzy bee Izzy is a very special girl and she’s looking for her very special family, maybe that’s you or someone you know! Izzy is a former alumni dog who has come back to BCRRT - through no fault of her previous family - unfortunately circumstances changed and it was best for all parties that Izzy come back to us. Since being back we have learnt all about Izzy and her wonderful personality. We have discovered the love she gives us is never ending, the cuddles she produces are out of this world and that she loves nothing more than her donut ring toy and a tennis ball!! She does take time to warm up but once she trusts you, she bonds to her person/people and is ready for all the adventures that lie ahead. Izzy will need a home that is quiet but one that can stimulate her fun, loving energy! Izzy does take time to adjust to new people/strangers but once she knows you, she is all cuddles. She would be best suited to a family with no young children and no other dogs. She is such a sweet girl with love to give and would love to find her forever home with people willing to spend time with her, throwing a ball around, quiet walks with her humans and cuddles. She is active but has an excellent off-switch and knows when it is time for inside vs outside. Izzy would do well with an older couple, maybe an empty-nest home where she can be spoilt forever and ever. I’m a small girl (34 lbs), 1.5 years old, spayed, healthy, vaccinated BC/Mini Aussie mix. I like training exercises (treats!) and learn fast! I sleep deeply through the night in my comfy crate and don’t mind spending a bit of time there during the day if you have to run errands (like getting me new tennis balls!) I have a busy mind, will bark at sudden noises (so apartment living would not be a good fit). I can be picky about canine friends and not a good buddy for birds, cats, squirrels, rabbits, or small children. Ace is a very loving 13 month old Miniature American/Australian Sheperd. We adopted Ace in April 2025 directly from a well-known breeder and he is registered with the American Kennel Club (will have papers). Sadly, we are looking to rehome Ace and my wife and I both had a change in jobs which has us traveling heavily. He loves every bit of attention he can get and tries harder than any other dog we've had to please his humans. He is great with kids, other dogs (once he's met them), and has even become good friends with our cat. They play together every day (or just ignore each other if not playing). He has no known health issues and we have also run a full DNA test from Embark confirming his good health and lineage. He was neutered at 5-6 months. He is house trained with very few accidents, kennel trained, responds to basic commands, does not run off/out when doors are opened, etc. We paid over $3K to adopt him, costs for neutering, and all current exams/shots (over $5k total).
